Why does Mozilla not actively support the DANE verification DNSECC Verifier App on 64 bit and limiting it in on Firefox 32 bit by CZ.NIC Labs?

Why is Mozilla not promoting the DANE protocol further for exmample the app above does not work on Firefox 64 bit and the 32 bit version is being limited is there a reason why DANE should not be used with HTTPS verification ?
