My Firefox browser recently updated to 115.11.0esr (64-bit), and now embedded videos won't play, I can initially see a picture, but instead of starting to play, the screen turns dark green and I can only hear the sound. This happened once before recently, but then it seemed to fix itself after a week or two. How can this be fixed?

I have used Firefox for years and had AVG free antivirus installed also for years. Tonight I had a popup window open from AVG informing me that AVG no longer support Firefox and have uninstalled their antivirus addon with immediate effect.

Does anyone know of a Free antivirus program that is any good and still supports Firefox?

Microsoft Security Essentials detect multiples times Trojan in Firefox setup. By Uninstalling and reinstalling, the issue was not resolved.

I'm having a problem with websites not remembering my zoom percentage settings. The zoom settings were remembering on my administrator account until recently. The strange thing is that zoom settings on websites ARE remembered in my standard user account on the same device. I am talking about private browsing only & after I close the session & reopen another Firefox session. Thank you

After the browser update earlier today I cannot log into 'You Tube TV'. The browser keeps asking for my email and password over and over and never signs me in. It keeps telling that I am signed out and need to sign in, over and over. I cleared my cache and cookies. I changed my sign in from my yahoo email to my gmail account and it still will not work. If I use the chrome browser it works fine. Please Help.

I want to acess fundednext.com on my phone and laptop using firefox It says not secure I want to access it anyway.

I have the latest FF browser. I'm not using any proxy service, just spectrum connection. when i try to access my credit union account, i get this message

"Error: "WWF2TUh4dnM=" - You're using an outdated browser or are using a Proxy service which is unsupported. Please update your browser or turn off your Proxy to continue, thank you."

how can i get past this? All help appreciated!

Hello. I suspect there was a cyber attack on April 1 2024. All of a sudden,having problems crashing with more than 1 browser. My Brave browser would open,and then crash with multiple tabs that had been saved. My Mozilla history was cleared,and I want it back because I need to find all sites I have visited from time to time for logins etc,but they are now gone.I have tried importing all of my Brave history,login forms to Firefox,but not sure where to located them or where they would be stored.

I have never had to deal with this sort of thing before so i am saying that i may be somewhat noobish on this.I just want some expert instruction on what to do here,and how to do it.I,m not 100 percent sure if i can do it correctly on my own by googling this myself,then attempting it.Brave continues to open then crash right after,so I dont know whats going on there with the userdata folder in the appdata folders with regard to Brave. Everytime i try to install an older version of Brave,it says i already have a curent version of it,and i dont want to uninstall brave then reinstall it again,or not sure if i should do this. Goodd day from UK I run firefox esr 115.9.1 and find the the F5 refresh key does NOT refresh the images. The same applies when using the "reload" icon in the menu.

Reading other posts, nothing seems to apply here.

There are NO add-ons at all and everything is cleared on close. The text DOES seem to change.

As a web developer checking updates this is extremely annoying as only hope is keep closing the browser (to clear everything) and restart - the loads new images etc.

I use several versions of Firefox (2, 20, 56) to ensure compatability with olf browsers and it seems to be only those over 100 with this issue.

Does anyone know if this is a "feature" or a"bug" and is there any simple (!) way around the issue?

Since a few days, even though I have eliminated the accesses in new tab with ignore, when I start Firefox again they are back on the new tab page.

How do I proceed to eliminate them?

When trying to download a college lecture, instead of downloading, the file opens and runs in a new tab. In General Settings "Save files to" is set to "Downloads" and "MP3 file (audio/mp3)" is set to Save File. This worked fine for several years until the last few months. It currently works correctly in my Chrome browser, but I prefer using Firefox.

I need to install a browser on a Windows 7 laptop that I'm trying to get operational so the files / data can be migrated to another platform. I would like to use Firefox if possible.

I'm thinking I would need a prior version. If so, what version should I choose and where do I get it from?

The current / legacy browser is Brave but that has been disabled by installing Bitdefender as part of the ongoing cleanup process. --Thanks

Greetings, I experienced this problem with the prior update, now after the current update i get this" internal Server error" Hopefully you can straighten this out. I hate using Google for anything!

I'm still running Firefox under Windows 7. I've now connected a new monitor with a resolution of 2660 x 1080 using an HDMI cable (previously DVI), and since then I've had major problems setting up websites. the websites are only partially built and I have to reload several times. Can you help me?

I have been using igHome as my Firefox home page for many years. Yesterday when I opened Firefox multiple porn pages kept opening. I uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox and that didn't help. I tried CCleaner and Malwarebytes to scrub any issues but that has not helped. HOWEVER, if I log out of igHome the multiple pages do NOT open, so apparently this problem is related to my igHome login.

I am using Windows 7 on this laptop and I understand that is no longer supported, but is there any way to remove whatever is causing these sites to open when I log in to igHome?

Please note this problem does not occur on a newer laptop running Windows 10. I am able to use igHome with no issues.
