Dear Firefox Officer,

I have been requested by e-mail to update my Firefox 78.15.Oesr (64 bits) before the end of March. Is this update compatible with my MacBookPro5,4 with IOS El Capitan 10.11.6? Please note that I cannot install a more recent IOS. Without updating my present Firefox, would I still have access to all my favorite folders and applications? Thanks for your help. Hi, you will have access to your data, only the sync option goes away. You can continue to use this version.

Sync is not going be supported with Firefox 78.0 and older anymore. You will need to have 79.0 or later to use Sync on it.

Firefox 116.0 or later requires macOS 10.15 (ten.fifteen) or later. Firefox 79.0 to 115.0 including 115 ESR required at minimum macOS 10.12, 10.13, 10.14 to run. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/firefox-users-macos-1012-1013-1014-moving-to-extended-support
