Invalid Security Certificate on Google, Yahoo, etc.
Downloaded and installed 56.0.2 (64-bit) yesterday. It came up with the message "Firefox seams slow click here to fix it". So I did.
Now Firefox is unable to connect to any of the search engines or any other site other than Mozilla. See Below:
"Your connection is not secure
The owner of www.google.com has configured their website improperly. To protect your information from being stolen, Firefox has not connected to this website.
This site uses HTTP Strict Transport Security (HSTS) to specify that Firefox may only connect to it securely. As a result, it is not possible to add an exception for this certificate."
Same for Yahoo, etc.

hi, first please make sure that the date, time & timezone are set correctly on your system. if this doesn't solve the issue (or it is already set properly), a solution depends on the individual circumstances:
- what is the error code shown when you click on advanced on that error page?
- please also give us more information about the error by clicking on the error code, copying the text to the clipboard and then pasting it here into a reply in the forum like shown in the screenshot.

Time & Date are correct
www.google.com uses an invalid security certificate. The certificate is not trusted because the issuer certificate is unknown. The server might not be sending the appropriate intermediate certificates. An additional root certificate may need to be imported. Error code: SEC_ERROR_UNKNOWN_ISSUER

ok thanks, it is kaspersky software on your system that's intercepting secure network traffic. you can work around that by disabling the option within kaspersky's settings: https://support.kaspersky.com/8324
Thank you for the link. I followed through on the kaspersky site and my system already has their recommended settings in place.
Tried both radio button choices:
Always Only for parental control

For now I turned off the "Check Secure Connection" box and was able to connect to Kasperski
