How to Disable Firefox “XML Parsing Error” view

From time to time I have to debug corrupted XML pages - but on Firefox I only get

   XML Parsing Error: not well-formed
   Location: http://192.168.12.132/getconfig.lua?page=log&index=0
   Line Number 428, Column 2

   -^

Instead I want to see the full XML to see what's wrong. Since the XML is generated on the device, the line-number does not help.

Alternatively I capture the transferred content with Wireshark - but this is a quite ugly workaround for just disabling this mask. Displaying the source-code shows a empty page - and using the Developer Tools I only can inspect the shown page - not the hidden XML.
