Firefox 46.0.1, Ubuntu 14.04.04 LTS. Until this morning I could right click on a tab and be given the option to 'protect' the tab. This morning when opening Firefox all my tabs are no longer 'protected' and the option to do this when you right click on a tab is no longer there. I can still 'pin' and 'unpin' a tab just can't protect them anymore.

hi capot1948, i'm not sure where this is coming from, since "protected tabs" isn't a feature that comes with plain firefox. maybe it is due to your Tab Mix Plus extension, which appears to be disabled at the moment in your list of addons...

hi capot1948, i'm not sure where this is coming from, since "protected tabs" isn't a feature that comes with plain firefox. maybe it is due to your Tab Mix Plus extension, which appears to be disabled at the moment in your list of addons...

You hit the nail on the head Philipp, I must have disabled it for some reason yesterday and when I brought it up this morning of course the tabs weren't 'protected'. Guess I need a slap on the hand for that one.
