playing video's in dutch NPO sites is since FF 38 update no more possible
In Ff update 38, viideo's from the dutch public broadcasting organization do not play anymore. No matter how I delete, purge and re-install plugin's add-ons etc. Yes, abp has been disabled for those sites. Help!

Does the site use the Flash based media player or an HTML5 media player?
If you use extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) that can block content (e.g. Adblock Plus, NoScript, Flash Block, Ghostery) then make sure that such extensions aren't blocking content.

That is a Flash player (NPO Player 5.0.0 in the right-click context menu).
Do you see the Lego block icon on the at the left end of the location/address bar?
Did you try to run Firefox in Safe Mode?
You can inspect and manage permissions for the domain in the currently selected tab via these steps:

No, there is no Lego block icon at the left end of the adress bar.
At the site identity button, all plug-ins in the list are on "standard use" .
