Why are you hitting me with those stupid survey pop-ups all the time??
The pop-up about taking the survey for firefox comes up every time I go to any web site. That is every time. You need to check this out. Pop-up ads are constantly coming up while I am on you tube or a shopping network. That survey ad is really driving me nuts. It's been going on for two months. I know it's more than 7 people having trouble with this. I am glad to here that fire fox isn't behind it. One time I took the survey thinking I was helping you because I like your service and I finished it told me to pick a free gift. After I picked a free gift it hit me with a big shipping fee. I cancelled. They proceeded to call me on the phone for two weeks trying to sell me things. Please try to stop this organization because their making you look bad as well agrevating your customers. If you want to check have a employee go on a shopping website and see if they are hit with the same pop-ups. I am sure they will be. Thank you a loyal customer

Hi, I'm afraid this is very likely to be malware, and the Firefox survey is bogus!
Here are some links which should help you to remove it -
- Remove Pop-up Ads from Internet Explorer, Firefox and Chrome by Malware Tips.
Note that not all malware removal programs will remove all malware, so you may need to run several.
If your question is resolved by this or another answer, please take a minute to let us know. Thank you.
Mozilla does not do surveys like this no matter what site you go to, more so any "free gift" ones which shows it is fake.
I agree that it may be some form of malware on your computer that is targeting Firefox or the default web browser.

Simple question not answered;
Question is "surveygizmo.com/" a recognised partner of Mozilla (FF) or a scam using the site to harvest email addresses or worse? Their popup asks "would you take a survey and asks only one question.

Hi, yes Mozilla does sometimes use Surveygizmo.
Note, as this is a somewhat different question to the original one, any further discussion on this subject should be done in a new thread. Thank you.
Not really a different question Scribe, the original thread was I believe "Why are you hitting me with those stupid survey pop-ups all the time?? and dealt with popups.

I am not trying to score points, or be difficult but I believe I am raising a valid and germane (closely or significantly related; relevant; pertinent: ) point. As a committed user of Firefox and Thunderbird I want to make you aware of what I belive to be the issue.
I cann not imagine that anyone who is committed to the mozilla products and ethos would object to the email requests sent out for survey participation and aimed at improving mozilla products. BUT (and I think it is a BIG BUT) a popup on your site asking only one question surely would make most careful people wonder "is this for real or is it a scam or phishing expedition?).
I guess most people reading this would not be aware of the Hill Street Blues admonition "Be careful out there" - same advice goes for the web hence my question
Anyway, I won't go on to bore everybody to death, I will merely say "Have a nice day y'all
