Regain Allow options for Hangouts on Air

I am running v 31.0 of Firefox. I was trying to join a Hangouts on Air session for an online class - viewing on my computer. I was given the option to turn on Google Chat, etc. I clicked on the wrong thing and the Allow option WENT AWAY. I am not able to retrieve the Allow option anymore. This is the case even if I leave Firefox ENTIRELY and start the browser again. How do I retrieve the option. Without the Allow capability I can no longer even JOIN the Hangouts on Air session. Very frustrating, since I need it for class!

If you go to "about:addons", you should find Google Talk under the Plugins tab. The dropdown menu will allow you to change it back to "Always Ask" or to "Always Remember".

While I appreciate the help, I just tried this, and it does not seem to work. According to about:addons, I already have the Always Ask selection already chosen.
