Firefox Dandalin Tallafi

Trying to recover from a hard drive crash. Had to buy a new desktop with Windows 11 Pro (looking to be a bad move). I downloaded/updated to Firefox 126.0 (maybe also looking to be a bad move).

Have my last "working" userChrome file (it took me weeks to perfect this to my needs).

I am looking for: C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\<profile>\

but there is no "AppData" folder. And there is no existing userChrome.css file, anywhere!

Is the functionality I am looking for a thing of the past?

Is Firefox not completely supported by Windows 11?

If so, what is the last version of Firefox that will still support userChrome.css?

Nuance Dragon 15, my speech to text software, periodically opens a window and says restore privileges to the Dragon web extension for Firefox to improve performance. However, the fix it button is inactive and Firefox has never seemed to have heard of this web extension and denies all knowledge of it so the cycle continues. Has anyone else encountered this novel issue, please?

I added my own shortcuts and deleted all the preset ones (Wikipedia, Twitter, Amazon etc). On deleting the last one of the default ones, the 'Add a shortcut' button has completely disappeared. Is there another way to create a shortcut?

I want firefox to open a .ics file in google calendar rather than the "Use Calendar (default). I've already run the script linked here : https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1196085 to register the webcal protocol handler.

The webcal It shows up in the Settings / Genera / Applications list See attachment "Webcal.jpg.

But earlier in the applications list, there is a "Calendar" entry that only allows me to go to the "Use Calendar (default) or ask or save. See attachment Calendar.jpg

It seems like Firefox uses the Calendar entry before it gets to the webcal entry and so it always opens the default windows calendar application.

Help! How do I get firefox to use the webcal entry and not the calendar entry.

If I Close (not Exit) FF and then later Open it, the new Open page is a different size and screen location than when it was last closed (I have to then reposition the page manually).

Is there a ABOUT:CONFIG setting I can can change to stop this?

I must utilize a radiology based website application that works best in Firefox. I utilize 3 monitors on my system and have Firefox browser working on Monitor #3. Unfortunately Firefox opens the popup windows in Monitor #1. I cannot find a setting anywhere that would force it to open the popups on the monitor that is running the Firefox browser. I do not have this issue with Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome just this browser. I only use Firefox for this application because of this. However, I must use it 4-5 hours a day and this is extremely annoying. Is there any way to fix this issue? In today's technology and the fact that most of us use multiple monitors, I would think this browser would be up-to-date in its options and ability to handle this. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I basically hate exclamation marks. I want to hide them. They are mainly in ads, in pages contents, everywhere. Buy! Do! Now! It is most disturbing character and it should be forbidden in non-meaningful manners. Years ago I saw such extension but I lost it due to many Firefox updates, which disabled some of them.

Some stupid admakers go wild and put it in end of every button and line.

Is it possible to configure whether Okta SSO can be configured per container as opposed to globally? I know the Microsoft SSO Integration is per container but it seems the Okta integration is all containers by default.

It requires modifying the below in about:config

network.negotiate-auth.trusted-uris

It would be ideal to be able to turn off this integration per container so multiple accounts could be used ie: personal, work, etc as opposed to having to go into Private Browsing.

I have Firefox running on Screen #3. The website that I use with my radiology clients opens popups and I want these to open on Screen #3 as well. However, they are opening on Screening #1. How can I get them to open on Screen #3?

Hello to your good team I am looking for a plugin for your browser that will do something for me I want to automatically refresh the site page and sound an alarm if the slightest change is made on the site. There is the same extension in the list of your browser extensions... but it doesn't give an alarm if the site changes. For example, I want the plugin to give me an alarm when I receive an email, or if the price of a product on the site changes, the plugin will give me an alarm. Help me please Thanks

The PCH.com website says that I need to remove (whitelist) Adblock from their site in order to be able to play the games on that site. Firefox extension site says that they have removed Adblock....I need help!

Hello! I am trying to create my own theme using Firefox Color, but the custom image I uploaded doesn't show in the actual theme, only the little preview. It is definitely small enough, so I do not know what the problem is. Is this able to be remedied? I am adding a screenshot so you can best understand what I mean. I have always been able to use the Mac setting to Double Click Title Bar to Minimize windows and it's always worked fine with Firefox. Until Sonoma, but with a stipulation.

It will not respond at all to a double click, but ONLY when I have chosen to show the title bar in Firefox. It works fine clicking in the tab plane as long as I have Show title bar turned off. This is a bit bizarre, but it appears a recent update of Firefox no longer works like that in Sonoma. Works fine on a Windows 10 machine and on a Mac running an older OS.

Note that I did do all the proper troubleshooting, reset Firefox, start in safe mode and all to no avail. When Show Title Bar is turned on, double click to minimize simply does not work.

Is there any way to make Firefox iOS browser Dark Mode a little darker by avoiding the moments when it is loading or reloading a page and the screen is fully bright white?

After reading just a few questions and their answers here I realize that I'm never going to learn everything I need to know to feel comfortable or even enjoy using my desktop computer. As for my cell phone, I've never liked using it and unless someone helps me learn how to use all the available features in Firefox (plus everything else in a smart phone which I call that stupid phone) then I will probably end up throwing it in the garbage and will sit in waiting rooms reading a book or magazine instead of doing whatever it is everyone else is doing on their phones. Most likely they're texting which I just learned how to do a few months ago. I never thought texting was necessary for me to know but now it seems to be the only way my adult children keep in touch these days.

How can I possibly learn everything I can or should do with Firefox? I barely know how to use all the basic features even though I've used Firefox for years. Your updates come so frequently that I will never be able to catch up! Why don't you offer some courses strictly for seniors who need a lot or even just a little bit of guidance when it comes to tackling technological issues? I dislike new technology but we have to use it, don't we? So, make life easier for us older folks and offer a few virtual courses to help us learn what we need to know. Come on Mozilla you can do it. You offer the technology now show us how to use it!
