Missed call log is always empty even after I had a missed call.
I have an eBay version American standard ZTE Open with OS version 1.1 updated onto the phone. When I missed a phone call, I would be able to see a new notification on the drag down menu but the missed call would be be logged onto the call log. The missed call log is always empty.
Am I the only one who has this problem? It's annoying because if I missed a call from someone whom is not only contact list there's no way I can call the person back.

After reading the information provided about your issue I suggest a soft reset of the phone.
- Take the back cover of the phone off.
- Take the battery out.
- Take the SIM card and microSD card out (if applicable).
- Wait 10 seconds.
- Put the SIM card and microSD card back in (if applicable).
- Put the battery back in.
- Put the back cover back on.
- Turn the device on.
- Check if the issue you were having is still present.

Just did a soft reset like you mentioned and that did not solve the issue. Just called the mobile phone from a land line. Notification popped up to notify a missed call, but going into the call log the entry was no where to be found.

Nope, call log rendered just fine. It's just the missed call tab of it is always empty.
Let me add that if I have a miss call, saw the notification and go into the contact list and call the person back, the subsequent calls would not show up anywhere in the call log neither.
Also, if a voice mail showed up in the notification, clicking into that notification item would start dialing for the voice mail but the dialer would not be brought up onto the screen, which is kinda weird and annoying when you have to type in your pin to access the voice mail.
Overall, I am still very excited about the open platform the OS brought forward and am amazed with what html5 can do, but these simple phone functions has to be spotted on or else it's just going to put people off and away from the OS.
Okay, I don't know what happened but I started getting missed call entries on the call log. But now the problem is the call log just randomly stopped working. I wouldn't log any calls for a day or 2 and started logging normally again.
