Hello,

I'm having issue with my Firefox crashing constantly, no matter what webpage I am on. Sometimes it crashes after I've been online for a few minutes, sometimes it crashes immediately upon startup. I just never know when it is going to crash, but it always does. I've completed all of the steps listed on your support website:

   Update your software
       Update Firefox
       Update your plugins
       Update Windows
       Update your drivers
       Update your Internet Security software
   Check for viruses or spyware
Check to see if the crash happens in safe mode.

I've done all of that, and the crashing still happens in Safe Mode. I'm still able to get online for a few minutes between crashes, but as you can imagine that is pretty annoying. Your help would be greatly appreciated.

Obviously you have already read firefox crashes Try creating and using a new profile.

  1. Whilst in safe mode also disable all plugins
  2. see Troubleshoot and diagnose Firefox problems_8-make-a-new-profile

Try to delete the file urlclassifier3.sqlite to reset the phishing protection database and force Firefox to rebuild a new database file (this can take some time).
You can find the file urlclassifier3.sqlite in the parent location of the cache.
You can see the location of the cache on the about:cache page via the location bar like you access a website.

VISTA: C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Local\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\<profile>\

Thanks. The new profile seems to be working. No crashing since I changed it over to a new one.
