Firefox becomes unresponsive and hangs. And after many minutes I get a pop up window which informs me that there is an unresponsive script, and asks me if I would I like to stop the script or continue and see if the problem resolves itself. Sometimes I will get 3 or 4 of these messages in a row. Each message is for a different script, and gives the path of the script in my system. After I respond to stop each script described in the pop up widows, Firefox immediately becomes responsive. This process can take as long as 15 minutes. My operatingsystem is Windows XP and I use Adobe Flash Player.
