Suddenly, I found I could not access Wall St Journal through my public library website using Firefox: I had one-time accessed Wash Post through the same site vs. daily accessing WSJ and after that any access would lead me to WP and not offer WSJ as a choice. Per the public library advice, I switched to Edge and immediately could access WSJ per usual and did not have the problem as with Firefox. Why? I have also had some sites which could not be accessed through Firefox but only through another browser like Edge.

As to how the site gives access that is up to them to inform you how they do that. And are these Browser on your computer or Library computer? And since there is no URL no one can replicate the problem your describing to verify what is the issue.
