I need help. I took the PC in to have a virus removed and the store removed AVG Anti-Virus and installed McAfee. When I got the PC home and connected, all the Firefox settings had been changed and the AdBlocker and Greasemonkey extensions were missing. I now get a message in settings claiming my browser is being managed by my organization, only I don't have an organization. This is my own computer and no one else uses it or has access to it. I reinstalled the AdBlocker and Greasemonkey, but now cannot get Greasemonkey scripts to download. I keep getting an error message. I've had both McAfee and Staples remote support looking at the problem, to no avail.

Can you attach a screenshot of the error message you get?

There is a bug. Another game user says the script isn't working with Firefox for him, either. He switched to using Chrome and Tampermonkey and the scripts for that work fine then. But I'm not happy with using Chrome or Edge, and I'm having problems filing the bug report with Mozilla for Firefox.

Thanks everyone, but I still have the problem and I've tried everything you suggested so far. The malware was removed. I've uninstalled and reinstalled several things, and the new Antivirus company support techs have spent hours and can't find any issues on their end. One thing I can't get rid of, that might be causing problems, is the "your browser is being managed by your organization" message. I've tried almost everything suggested on the internet for fixing that, too, except where it requires messing with code. I'm afraid to tinker with code, since I'm not a digital native.
