Updated Firefox Changed Bookmarks List Length

more options

Firefox appears to have just updated. Now my bookmarks list is so long I have to scroll down to see everything. It looks like everything has been spaced out further, which I hate. It takes up was too much space. They were probably going for a more elegant, less cluttered look, but it just ended up making things more aggravating for me. There should be a way to adjust or turn off the spacing feature. Any suggestions?

Likewise, I hate this new bookmark layout, I get half as many bookmarks showing on a page now, so much more scrolling to do. I can understand that for some it makes things less tight and hence easier to read, but for others this is now a real pain. There should be a setting where you can choose the spacing between bookmark items. If not, how can I revert to an earlier version? Or is it time to shift to a different browser completely? Some "improvements" actually set us back.

I totally agree! I stopped using Chrome because they kept reducing my ability to customize the browser to make it work best for me. Now Mozilla is doing the same thing. I'm going to start browser shopping.

You can possibly use code in userChrome.css to override changes coming in Firefox 89+ with the new Proton design.

Change for changes sake. So annoying when developers feel they have to change things just because they want to demonstrate there own value and that product is not going stale. Please only change things that need changing.
