For over a week, the Facebook comments on ESPN are blank. No comments appear. I can go to the same page on my smartphone and view comments. My add blocker allows Facebook comments and even if I turn it off, ESPN still don't appear.

Links for others to see?

If I go to any article on ESPN and click the comments to read the comments the white comments box pops up with the article headline followed by Facebook comments legalese and the rest of the box is blank showing no comments. If I go to the page linked below and click the comments I see no comments. If I look at the page on my iPhone, I see 44 comments. If I turn off Ghostery on my iMac Firefox browser, I still see no comments.

Nothing wrong here I clicked on the link and clicked the comments and I see the comments just fine. Now with FF58 and no problems.

Thanks for checking. Must be a Ghostery issue.

Ghostery that I used in the past was more a hindrance then it helps. I myself use a PC hosts edited file and that more then blocks any adware and popups and redirect. This has helped me enjoy the internet.

I'm using a Mac so that probably isn't an option. Ghostery support offered a few solutions. They are suggesting my Firefox Profile is corrupted and told me to create a new user profile, reinstall Ghostery and test it. I created a new one but see that it drops all of my bookmarks etc. so I'm not doing that. Do you think my profile could be the problem? At this point, I might just dump Ghostery.

Don't uninstall unless you backup your bookmarks and then only should you decide to wipe uninstall all FF and delete Mozilla folder and then reinstall to see if the problem doesn't return.

If you use extensions ("3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Extensions) that can block (wanted) content (Adblock Plus, NoScript, Ghostery, Privacy Badger, uBlock Origin) always make sure such extensions do not block (wanted) content.

There is Tracking Protection that can block (wanted) content, so check the location/address bar for special icons.
