I have a PC user for whom I've saved the key3.db and logins.json files. Can I use those same files on his new mac? Will it then restore all of his saved username and password data?

Hi

You should be able to do that. I save the same (together with bookmarks) when I do a back up.

When you have set up Firefox on the new machine, identify the new profile and copy those files into it. Go to about:support and click on Show Folder next to Profile Folder to find the new profile.

Alternatively (assuming you have a backup copy just in case) port the contents of the old profile folder over to move these files and the bookmarks, together with any addons and other settings.

I hope this helps, but if not, please come back here and we can look into a different solution for you.
