Hello! My name is Anya. I am desperately trying to manage my social media addiction and to help support that I am wondering if its possible to disable the privacy window. I know I can install a website blocker - which I have, but it does not apply to the private window so I have full access to social media on it, I just have to log in. I want to COMPLETELY block Facebook and Instagram off of my laptop. Is this possible? Thank you!

I have all my passwords stored on Firefox on my macbook pro. When I follow the instructions to sync my passwords on the Firefox app on my phone, it keeps rejecting my primary password, saying it is incorrect. I have deleted the app and re-installed it on my phone, but it still does not work. Why will my account not open on my iphone app? Thank you!

i'm missing some of the default search engines in the bar ebay and amazon. i hit the button "restore default search engines" in setting to try and fix it no luck. only give me back wikipedia, bing, duckduckgo but not amazon and ebay two sites i visit a lot.

this been happening to me for the past year and every time i had to go in the c drive and delete the mozilla folders and reinstall firefox to get them back. then use it after a month or two later they disappeared for no reason. this only happens on my desktop and not my laptop how do i make this stop happening?

Every day on the second or third tab the website will not load. If I open firefox again the site will load immediately. These can be bookmarked sites previously used one million times or linked sites embedded in a current tab. Your support pages have not helped. I'm about to ditch Firefox MS Edge!

I am on a mailing list from the Smithsonian Magazine. I receive a daily email containing links to interesting stories. The links work and take me to the correct page, however, I am unable to scroll the page up to read the article. They used to scroll, but not now when I go there by clicking a link in the email. The email also contains a link named View in Browser, and the email appears in Firefox and I can scroll the email, but if I click on a link in that email displayed in the browser, the page still will not scroll up. Problem not present in Chrome or Edge. I previously reported this to Mozilla in Feedback and to the Smithsonian about 2 weeks ago, but still no change in his strange behavior. I'm an instructor that uses Blackboard at college. When I click in the text entry box to enter my grades, I'm given a list of previously entered grades to choose from. The list is in ascending order. Is there any way to get this list in descending order? One other point, until recently it used to display the value that was used most often at the top, which was often 100. Now it's in ascending order. I've attached a snippet of what I mean.

I just did a clean install on a new windows 11 machine. Every time I close Firefox I get a report crash screen from Firefox. When I close it and restart Firefox everything is fine, but very annoying! I have search every where with no luck for a fix. I did turn off my FSecure which made no difference If it continues I guess after all these years I will have to change browsers,which I don't want to do.

Typing "handshake.com" in the toolbar takes me to "https://www.shopify.com/blog/wholesale-suppliers#" instead of searching or going to handshake.com .....WTAF?! Consistently.

Also, why is it so hard to report the issue? I know Mozilla is a nonprofit, but there was literally no way at all to just report the problem? All I can do is message a volunteer? Feels broken. Thank you.

I was in the middle of asking this question when I fixed (worked around) the problem so I'm posting more as a informative post as there is a lot of old misdirection out there now.

I am(was) unable to drag any URLs from the URI drop down field in the main interface to my bookmarks toolbar. Nor was any drag and drop functionality working in the "Customise Firefox" screen (right click space on url bar -> Customise Toolbar).

I have now found that resetting my zoom setting in preferences to 100% restores this functionality. The problem arose when I was using 120% zoom, NOT text only.

Hello, I have a problem: After an automatic update of the language packs, parts of the Firefox menu (version 126.0) are displayed in EN. Parts in DE. Seems to be related to the update... how can I change this again? I have already changed the language settings. Didn't help...it appeared after an automatic update on May 28. Thanks for an idea :)

I have installed the German language extension. I can go to a site written in German and it translates fine. THE SECOND I USE ANY SUB MENU WITHIN THE SITE, IT DOES NOT TRANSLATE. Right clicking and choosing "Translate" does not work since "translate" does not exist on the tab.

The Firefox translate feature only works on the initial screen!

After applied Chinese Language Pack, the menu didn't change ,even after restart firefox or the system. I tried refresh firefox and re-install the language pack, the same situation appeared.

Hello, I've chatted with the creators of the add on "Twitter X Ad Blocker" and asked why it isn't working any more. They told me they have an update made and ready but you have not approved it yet. What will it take to get you to approve the update so this will work again?

after the download of v.126.0 i discover my history, all of it, has been deleted. in its place is a single web site, which shows up as the only web site visited across a time span going back months. this single web site cannot be deleted from the history. it cannot be deleted through the settings menu. no new history is created by web visits. the persisting single web site is among the sites in my tool bar, but is also a site i have not recently visited (months before this happened).

Sometimes drag functionality stops working. I can't grab a tab to move it to another position or to a new window. (Holding left click on the tab and moving the cursor does nothing). Also, re-merging the tab with another firefox window stops working. (Dragging a tab to a firefox window from another firefox window doesn't merge them. It does nothing) I can right click on the tab and select Move to move it to a new window but dragging stops working. I have to close Firefox and start it again (sometimes twice), then dragging starts working again. This happens multiple times a day. I am on Linux Mint and the version is 126.0 (64-bit). This problematic behavior has only recently began.

I use passkey verification for a website. In other browsers, I can get a QR code to scan with my phone to login. In Firefox, I only get a popup saying Touch your security key to continue with <site> (image attached). In Chromium, I have options for both (image attached). Is this possible in Firefox?

For some reason the developer tool on Firefox is just completely blank when I open it. Nothing will load and I can't even close out of it. Any ideas on how to fix this?

On firefox 126.0 (64-bit) the option for spelling check is enabled, but will not appear on the context menu box when right clicked. This happens for the desktop sites of Facebook and Instagram.
