All my important tabs = gone. Nothing under recently closed windows. Most of them too old to be found in recent history. I'm mortified. I normally love Firefox updates but now I want to yell at someone :(

I have been using this userChrome.css code to hide the tab bar if there is only one tab (on Windows):

tab:only-of-type, tab:only-of-type + #tabs-newtab-button {

   display: none !important;

}

#tabbrowser-tabs, #tabbrowser-arrowscrollbox, #tabbrowser-tabs > .tabbrowser-arrowscrollbox {
   min-height: 0 !important;

}

Since one of the recent Firefox updates, this code does no longer work. Maybe because there is a new element in the tab bar: A drop-down list at the right.

Any idea how to make the above code work again?

The txt document codes I was given to save to my computer were corrupted in a recent windows update gone wrong. Can you give me those codes back, or are there other routes I can take to correct this?

I got the newest download version from Firefox yesterday and cant get onto my online banking.I had the techs from bank try to figure it out on their end but said it must be something with the new download from Firefox. The message from online banking keeps saying try another browser,could someone help me with this issue

When opening or downloading an attachment from an email (yahoo mail) the email tab closes after about 20-25 seconds without warning. Happens each time a new attachment is opened, but does not happen when opening the attachment subsequent times. Happens on all my computers. Have tried all the basic remedies..clearing cache... cookies..etc

This started happening approx 4-6 weeks ago.

I was using Ubuntu before. I was using firefox and i had lots of recorded logins in that browser. I sign in with my current account and i opened sync including the password and login. Recently i changed my distro, i am using Fedora right now. I log in my firefox account, yet my passwords and logins didn't came back.

So I just updated to version 106.0.1, and I noticed something new in the far right corner of the screen, an arrow with a dropdown function listed as view all tabs. I have no need for this and tried to use the customize toolbar option to remove it. It did not work. How do I get rid of this thing? It's just kinda taking up space on the screen as I doubt I'm ever gonna use it.

Any tips here?

Is the current version of FFX compatible with macOS 13 Ventura? If Ventura breaks FFX then I don't want to do the OS update until FFX works.

I do a lot of OS switching - I test various Linux distros on my 5 laptops and one really old 32 bit system for my mother-in-law and I am wondering if I can use FireFox Accounts over and over without making a new service device every time I need something from FF Accts :P

This has bugged my off and on for a long time but I have mostly ignored the issue ... until last week I discovered I had like 20 some odd devices on my account -- going back 2 years or more. Now, I signed out of many of them and I am down to about 15 -- mostly because I am a little confused about how FF Accts determines what to sync ... especially since I use FF for testing and the shouldnt be that much in each 'sync' device ...

So, is there a way to use FF Accts 'sync' to get my data to a new device without making a new 'synced' device?

PS - a few FF releases in the past I got what I wanted by just copying the .mozilla directory to the new system but that broke a few releases ago :P too bad stuff has to change :(

Youtube constantly drops frames playing 1080p60fps videos and the experience feels overall choppy. This behavior doesn't happen in other browsers such as Chrome and Edge. Moreover, this doesn't happpen in 1080p30fps videos, but since I cannot change the fps of each video in Youtube, I'm stuck with 720p in 60fps videos.

I tried contacting Mozilla Customer Service, but there is absolutely no way to do it. You customer service leaves much to be desired.

You updated your unstable system. It did the update, but now my saved passwords are missing. If your system deletes the passwords, what kind of safety do users of Firefox are guarantee? At this point all the passwords are missing. What security is your system providing?

Every other day I get a notice to update and restart and all it does is "download" or so it shows, sunts down never restarts. When I restart the browser it is the exact same version. Itis constantly ging no where. Any thoughts.............

In the latest versions of Firefox all connections are automatically upgraded to https. As a result, I can no longer use Firefox to access this site: http://hearts.vex.net hearts.vex.net is a site which I've been using and enjoying for years. As Firefox is my default browser, I have to use other browsers for this purpose, which I'd prefer not to do. A setting in the configuration file could be added to disable this behavior either globally or for a specific site, correct?

When I click on my bookmarks tab it will open up and show me all my bookmarks. When I click on any of my bookmarks they will not open. Any one have any ideas? (would money help?)

Whenever I receive a software update notice, the browser closes all open links even when I click on Do NOt Update. Today I was researching travel arrangement on a number of sites and all were suddenly closed forcing me to start over with hours of searches. Pissed me off. How do I stop this from happening? If I can't prevent this from happening, will need to cancel use of this browser. Too many disruptions.
