If that fails to resolve the problem follow the instruction you already have that suggests contacting kaspersky

Sorry. No help. Kaspersky PURE is not a Firefox addon. Awaiting a reply from Kaspersky. Did not have this problem with previous version of Firefox.

Damn, two weeks after Firefox 5.0 is released Kaspersky finally comes up with a trial version? When the hell are they going to have a release version?
Hopefully before Firefox 6 is released on August 16th, and you guys go thru this all over again.

You Kaspersky users need to get on their case and demand that they keep up with the new Firefox Fast Release schedule, and properly fulfill their contractual obligations to their customers. Either that or Kaspersky needs to tell you that Mozilla changed the "rules of the game" (multiple new versions over the course of a year, rather than a new version every 12 to 14 months, as in the past few years), and they (Kaspersky) are unable or unwilling to play by the new set of rules.

I had the same problem when Firefox 5 was out (Password Manager Autofill Plugin not compatible). Installing Standalone Password Manager only sort of fixed the issue, as it was in trial mode (my license is for PURE) and didn't import the DB from old version. Doing as it says here fixed the issue (ofc, the fix came about 2 weeks after official release of Firefox 5).

But here we go again, now that Firefox 6 is out. I already opened a request w/ Kaspersky Tech Support, my guesstimate is in about 3 weeks we'll have a patch for PM, so just be patient and don't try too many things to "fix" it, it won't work until new patch is out.

Edit: do NOT install stand-alone Password Manager, if it's the same as with FF5, you will have it as trial mode and you won't be able to import the DB.
