Using Windows 10, 64 bit. FFX version 92.0.1 (64 bit) When I start FFX I get this message on the opened tab. Have refreshed FFX and still get it. Just reinstalled FFX and still get it. Do not have Bit Defender installed - as suggested in other posts. Entering any URL does nothing. E.g., entering www.google.com does not go to Google though www.google.com is displayed in address bar and it just sits there with a blank page. So, so frustrating.

You can check the connection settings.

  • Settings -> General -> Network: Connection -> Settings

If you do not need to use a proxy to connect to internet then try to select "No Proxy" if "Use the system proxy settings" or one of the others do not work properly.

See "Firefox connection settings":

I restarted PC and system now works. I hate when rebooting PC solves the "Gah. Your tab just crashed." problem. It was probably the combination of reinstall + restart that made things work.
