I have either forgotten how to do that or something may have changed. I tried to drag & drop the address from the main book to the sub book but that doesn't work any longer. What am I missing here?

Reconnecting the address book doesn't help. Newly added email addresses don't sync. Everything is fine on the other computers, all running Windows 10.

We have an email account that is gmail behind the scenes but uses a front end alias (e.g. name@organisation.ca). Adding the email account to Thunderbird is no problem, TB recognizes that it is a gmail account. However, it does not automatically add the address book. I tried to add manually using the new Accounts Hub CardDav putting in the email address under UserName and putting in imap.gmail.com:993 for the URL/Hostname. It does not work and I get the error: Component returned failure code: 0x80004002 (NS_NOINTERFACE) [nsISupports.QueryInterface]

How can I extract or retrieve the "Username:" variables and "Email" variables in the Body text to set up a mailing list or Address Book.
