Browser is FF Nightly 112.0a, but this is probably a bug in stable FF, too. "Always ask you where to save files" is checked, in preferences. Like title says, the "last download location" is stored, and works for downloading files, and downloading a SINGLE item in Tools\Page Info\Media (Ctrl-I), but if multiple items are selected (in Page Info\Media), folder opened will always default to set location, instead of last download folder.

How to disable Enhanced Tracking Protection on all sites and for every FF session. Choosing Custom, and deselecting all check boxes doesn't work.

I have tried the suggestions as described in the following article: https://support.mozilla.org/bm/questions/1273784 However, am still having the issue. It's as if the settings are totally ignored. I am using version 108.0a1 of Firefox developer edition. Ideally what am trying to achieve is away to disable all features of ETP. I figured setting it to custom with all values unchecked would have done the trick but it's not working. What works is if I add the site to the list of Exceptions for Enhanced Tracking Protection, then I will see all Ads loaded just fine on the page. However, this is not viable for me as I have a large list of sites that I visit, and I need to see the ads on them.

Does anyone know of a way to get around this feature in FF?

Is there another setting am missing from the previous article?

This is for Firefox Nightly 105.0a1 (2022-08-05) (64-bit)

I have included a screenshot of the address bar dropdown and there are four unfamiliar icons that appear in it as large grey boxes with icons and descriptive text, in each of them. They are labeled: "View Add-Ons | Clear History | Open Downloads | Open Inspector" i would like to know if it is possible to remove these from this dropdown box or have them moved so that they appear elsewhere.

Every time Firefox developers add something, they inevitably fail to provide for it to be altered or moved to somewhere more suitable for the user's preferences. Kindly forward detailed instructions as to how I can update these to either disappear from this menu or move them elsewhere.

Also kindly please forward on a message for the developers to ASK PEOPLE where they want something to appear or be moved to or from. It does not make any sense to me, for me to have to put up with random icons in areas of menus, dropdowns, etc., that they were never before in!

I have been unable to figure out how I've managed to make my addons no work properly.

I've tried running them in debug mode, but I'm not particularly adept in debugging addons.

I've reset Firefox back to default a few times, addons seem okay, and then as soon as my Firefox account syncs and installs my installed addons they go back to wonky.

I can't seem to attach images RN, Firefox (Nightly) crashes every time I click on the button.

The behavior can be described as the addons when clicked have a blank page as their contents, and some addons (Like Dark Reader) just have like a sliver of a drop down with no contents.

If you'd like me to grab some debug data from wherever just let me know.

Hi, I've been using Nightly due to the stable version of Firefox having stutter/performance issues that doesn't seem to occur in Nightly (something to do with Vsync and/or FPS on high refresh rate gaming monitors perhaps? This can be seen on testufo.com as well as in general when scrolling pages).

The issue I'm having with Nightly is that it often leaves background processes open in Task Manger after exiting. This does not occur in stable as far as I can tell. These background processes are causing issues when trying to update Nightly via the menu, as Nightly closes and tries to update but the background processes remain. The only thing to do is to kill the processes (sometimes as many as 20 of them) and then Nightly is able to update by itself and restart.

I've noticed that the command line for some of these processes show links that I have clicked from outside of Nightly (In Discord for example), but the processes do not immediately appear when clicking links and seem to appear at random while using the browser. Some of them also show stuff along the lines of "contentprocess" and "gecko-crash-server-pipe" which seems to be normal firefox.exe processes that run in the foreground, perhaps before being "converted" into background processes which in turn won't close.

Another thing I've noticed is when these background processes exist, it causes lag and other issues in, as well as a huge delay when clicking links outside of Nightly.

This has been going on for about a month (through all the daily updates) since I've installed Nightly. I've tried disabling add-ons, refreshing, and even completely uninstalling, wiping all traces of, and reinstalling Nightly, to no avail.
