Today May 1, I noticed that any website that shows a recaptcha checkbox, including the google recaptcha demo (https://www.google.com/recaptcha/api2/demo) only shows an infinite spinner in firefox v125.0.3. I've tried the same sites in chrome and edge and the recaptcha works fine. In FF, I have cleared my cache, disabled tracking protection, disabled anti-virus and tried troubleshooting mode - still get the infinite spinner. Last week, I had no problems with recaptcha.

Until yesterday everything was fine. I was able to complete recaptcha. But when I tried searching something today, I couldn't do it because of the recaptcha. It was stuck on infinite loading. Every website I visited the problem was there. I tried fixing it from the tips I found in the forum here but nothing seems to work. I was frustrated. Then I tried Brave browser and it was working. Please help me fix this problem. Thank you.

Whenever i encounter a reCAPTCHA, and click "i am not a robot", the wheel keeps spinning and spinning and spinning. I never get to the screen where i have to verify images or a check mark. Just started happening randomly.

I've spent hours searching. Tried every single solution-new profile, erased firefox and reinstalled, troubleshoot mode, firefox refresh, turned tracking protection off, changed network settings, reset wifi adapter, you name it i tried it. I need to get past reCAPTCHA's for work. Getting so frustrated. Please help!

One important point-the only other browser i have on my laptop is Microsoft edge and it' works perfectly on Edge!

I have tried all fixes suggested by others reporting similar problems with previous versions, but this was noticeable for me yesterday afternoon right after some downtime and the latest version (for me) of Firefox was installed. Every time I try to use a site requiring recaptcha, the wheel spins and I get no choice to log in. I've cleared cookies and my cache, refreshed Firefox, etc. Nothing works.

No longer able to copy or paste text on Firefox with Windows 10. Copy and Paste are greyed out in the right click menu after selecting text. Using CTRL-C, V or P does nothing at all. Still works fine in other browsers. What has Firefox broken again this time?

Hi, I have been using firefox for many years and never showed me an UAC popup requiring permissions to update firefox as soon as i clicked the firefox icon in the taskbar. Today suddenly required it. I am administrator in windows 10, and have automatic updates enabled as always. I am using 125.0.3 (64-bit) version. This could be a bug or a virus? i am worried that could have given permission to a virus to install something else when i pressed the firefox icon.

Hello, since the latest version of Firefox, as always, it breaks now if I want to enter instantgaming or it does not enter no matter how much I click on enter or in kinguin.net, when it asks me for the recapcha, it stays in an infinite loop and does not show the images. .

I have done safe mode and installed firefox from 0 and nothing, it is tedious that at this point a browser that has been having this type of problems for years because in opera, edge they do not give me these errors, it is tiring to always have to have a browser that fails due to anything.

Google ReCaptcha is not working on literally all websites. Once I click on checkbox "I'm not a robot" It gets stuck on infinite loop. Although working on Mac OS in Firefox and Chrome or any other browsers. The issue is primarily with Windows version

I'm trying to give permission to a website to use my microphone, but if I copy in the web address, the "Allow" button doesn't appear & so when I hit "save changes" nothing happens.

When I load www.foxnews.com a popup box comes up and says to view the news to turn off my ad blocker, and then makes the site inoperable. I can't find an ad blocker so I'm thinking I might have a security setting wrong. I can view the website in Chrome with no problem. Any help is appreciated. Gary

When I open Firefox on my new computer all the bookmarks are showing at the top. I only want my default bookmark toolbar to show. The only solution I could find was to drag it into the toolbar area.

Since a day or two the font size on my Menu Bar is way too small. I have been searching around and the solutions are not working or not what I want. I do not want to zoom in, I want my page size to remain the same, I only need the font size on the menu bar back to what it was. I tried the userChrome.css method and it did not work

Your instructions under "help" say to click on "Firefox" and click on "preferences". When I click on Firefox the menu does NOT have "Preferences" in it. What's up with that?? And how do I clear the cache and cookies?

I've noticed lately that my Firefox keeps freezing and hanging up at random periods for no apparent reason. I have very few plugins and it even happens with them all disabled and removed. I've tried resetting Firefox to default everything yet it makes no difference.

Also I can not clear history. I've tried multiple different clear history plugins but none of them work at all. And when I try the traditional way of clearing Firefox history the window pops up and then the entire browser just freezes while 'clearing' and never gives me back control, I have to force quit and restart to regain control. And then when I relaunch the history is still not cleared!

So aside from the constant lagging and lockups it seems that any attempt to delete history whether using the inbuilt function or adding plugins messes up the whole browser.

Googling this issue it seems others are having the exact same problem with Firefox and yet any suggested solutions (reset browser) don't seem to be working for may of them.. Or me.

Hello everyone. Well, I've been using Firefox for a few months, maybe a semester now, I don't remember. But the point is that since yesterday I have been facing a serious problem of not being able to download any type of file (MP4, PDF, .JSON, ISO, etc.). I've already used the troubleshooting mode and I've also restarted my laptop, but it didn't help. I've also gone to the advanced settings (see 'about:config > browser.download') and reset/deleted the data for each command but the problem still persists.

What happens is the following: I click to download the file in question, however, nothing happens other than the page loading that commonly occurs when downloading something. Still, the file does not appear in the downloads tab and there is not even the option to choose where to save the file (e.g. Downloads folder, Documents folder). The download simply appears to have failed.

Exactly, it 'appears', because today I discovered that all my downloads were being directed without my permission/action to the 'downloads' folder (And that's not where I want them to go). The problem would be smaller if only this happened, as I would then just get the files downloaded there and then change to the desired folder, thus trying to move forward despite the problem. But the downloaded files themselves are not operational, they have the icon when a file is still downloading, in addition to not having a name, everything being just a cluster of codes.

In the end, there are files, large and small, that have no use and that I don't even have control over where to direct them. Which is still a huge problem because I still technically can't download anything from the browser. Please, I really need your help on how to resolve this problem.

Note: Also, when I close and open the browser, the first download I try appears in the downloads tab, but it fails instantly and cannot be resumed, making it an eternal failure.
