When I open Facebook with Firefox all of the images in the FB session are blank, and they will not open in the usual manner. Also only about 1/4 of the FB session is displayed.

When I use Edge I have no problems at all, so I have to assume that it is FF and not my computer that is at fault.
Please advise.

Hello, I was trying to fix this issue on my browser but I was not able to do it. The OS is Ubuntu 20.04.3 LTS 64-bit. Currently, I'm using Firefox version 99.0a1 but I had the same issue on version 97. Also, I have this issue on only one of my PCs. As I said in the subject: - The browser freezes the whole PC and I have to force reboot it. (I already disabled the hardware acceleration) - the recent download item open button does not trigger the opening of the folder. - If I try to download a file, the browser ask me where to save it. But if I try to download another one the browser shows me the directory with path /run/usr/1000/... I tried to delete places.sqlite but I received the same result. ... Tried to reset settings. Does not work. Went to about:config, than tab.mo / print.tab_modal.enabled set to false. Did this method before and it worked. Now this method does not work trying to get print preview back. Firefox is my web browser. I am in windows 8.1. Seems like Firefox did some updates again and now I can not get print preview back! WHY DOES NOT FIREFOX LEAVE WILL ENOUGH ALONE WHEN THEY HAVE SOMETHING GOOD? Bring back the old classic print preview button back and leave it. Now how can I get the old print preview button back???? Cannot get out of the terrible firefox print dialog. Literally no one wants this print dialog, it is a waste of time, and does not support all the printer options. I do not want to have to click "print using the system dialog" every time. Please restore the print.tab_modal.enabled = false functionality immediately. Or better yet get rid of your stupid print dialog.

We are once again asking for Reading List on desktop

The data exists/syncs with our accounts, right? I don't want to use Pocket. Pocket...is lackluster at best. Why have Reading List at all?

I have two PDFs that I designed and uploaded to our website, but the headline in both displays with clipped characters in Firefox. Different fonts were used in both and the issue is the same. I even tried adding more tracking then re-uploading, the issue persists.

I checked in other browsers and the text displays as intended. The attached screenshots show the issue in Firefox, compared to how it should look (viewed in Chrome).

It's only this one line of text that is affected and I don't know why.

I'm using firefox 97 on mac. Whenever I copy and paste an image from firefox, the image comes out desaturated as if it is using the wrong color profile. I tried changing the gfx.color_management settings without it improving. The images look fine and are the right colors in the browser, however, the issue only happens when I copy and paste images. Firefox behaves like the color management is disabled (set to 0 in config) but ONLY when copying and pasting images.

I do not have this issue with other browsers such as chrome.

I have a locked file that shows up as Invalid Symlinks error. I am not sure but I think it may be Profile.ini Here is what I am getting that tells me its a Non-Existent Destination file. My question is why is it Invalid symlink and what can I do to fix it? Hi! Since updating Firefox to 98.0 I've been experiencing sudden performance drops(lags/freezes/stutters) while scrolling. `about:support` page shows that compositing is `WebRender`. The issue occurs with fresh profile without any addons installed and also in `firefox-nightly`(100.0a1). However, scrolling is totally smooth in 97.0.2 and earlier versions of Firefox.

What changes in Firefox 98 could cause this, and are there any settings in `about:config` I can try to tune to solve the issue? These are the settings I've always used, and, as I mentioned, scrolling was smooth before 98.0:

I don't know what's happened to cause this, but for the last few days if I grab a torrent file online, I only get the option to save the file, no option to automatically open in my torrent client.

I have been to Firefox general settings, and Applications - "Choose how Firefox handles the files you download from the web or the applications you use while browsing" but .torrent is not listed. When I search "torrent" in the Applications search box, I get only "magnet" as a result, nothing for "torrent" files (see image).

Any advice on how to automatically open .torrent files from the web in my torrent client would be appreciated.

I know firefox version 98.0 changed how downloads work, but I have my settings for downloads set to "Always ask you where to save files" and specifically for PDF files, I have the action set to "Always ask". However, when I click download on a PDF file and then select "open with firefox" as the action option, the file not only opens in the browser, but also gets downloaded automatically without even allowing me to select where. Is this intended behavior? There are lots of times I just want to view a file and not actually download it, and this is quite annoying.

Since the last update to Firefox I have not been able to print using the system dialog. Only the new Firefox print screen comes up. How can I return to system printing dialog?

Also the ability to set print quality in the Firefox print screen does not exist. I can do copies, black or color, duplex printing, etc but not set the print quality like draft, text, photo, etc.

I also have many forms I've setup for printing and I can't access these.

I recently migrated from Chrome to Firefox for a variety of reasons. I would like to continue using Firefox. However, everytime I close out of it and then reopen it I am forced to log back into every site. Firefox does not hold my passwords and does not keep me logged in like Chrome does.

Is there a way for me to correct this? Otherwise I need to go back to using Chrome.

To post on this support forum I just created a Firefox account. The system then emailed me a verification code to check my address. While nearly the entire email was in English, the time seemed to be rendered in Greek. This seems a bit odd to me. My browser is set to English, with no other languages present.
