I use windows 10 Pro as the main synching device to synch Firefox to my iPhone ver. 14 and ninth generation iPad. Neether the iPhone or iPad will synch. Seems like the changing of the guard in management has screwed things up that were working a few days ago.

I had Wavve.co app installed on my laptop. Was using it but started to have problems (ie, the app slowing and then not working at all). Firefox showed me a message that said something to the effect that this page was slowing down the browser, did I want to "Stop Page"?

So I clicked "Stop Page", but now even after doing a reset to a date PRIOR to installing the app, I still cannot access the app on this laptop. Will I now need to switch to another browser to continue working with Wavve? Is there ANY way to UNDO that action? Suggestions?

I use several add-ons in firefox, and largely they feel trustworthy, but I dont have any means for limiting the scope of what they are able to do, the manifest tells me what they can do and thats it. I have read through this page https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/permission-request-messages-firefox-extensions, but I have had a hard time even understanding which permissions let an add-on make network requests.

Barring the ability to actually stop add-ons from making network requests is there any visibility into what requests are being made by an extension, or all extensions in the browser?

bold textWhen I click onto Firefox, it opens a tab that says Invalid URL. If I click onto the + next to it, it opens up into the firefox browser. What can I do about the original tab??

since some Firefox versions the setting "browser.fixup.alternate.suffix" no longer works. I found that all "browser.fixup.alternate" entries do not work anymore. After searching the web I found an answer that the fixup.alternate options don't work when the protocol is https. So, because today nearly all Websites use https, this options are completely without function. In my case I want to add the default TLD ".de" if I do not enter the TLD. Is there any place (except source code, of course) to configure this behavior for https, too?

MS Windows 11 just updated (02/14/24) and now Firefox keeps giving me the 'Firefox is already running, but is not responding. The old Firefox process must be closed to open a new window.

 <Close Firefox>  <Cancel>.  Task Manager is showing three Firefox activities at the same time.  This problem is only on my Admin user account.   The two other local account run Firefox fine.  Any help, suggestions directions?

Using: PC W11 [v 10.0.22631 Build 22631] & Mozilla Firefox v122.0.1 (64-bit)

Everytime I look up something and it has a map attached to it and I click on the map, I get Google Map or MapQuest and the map is there for 3 seconds and then it looks like the attached picture. So I open up maps in its own tab and type in the address and I get same results. But if I use either of them in edge, I have no problems. I only have Mate Translate on in add ons. So I have no idea what is going on. I reset cache as I had read that from a post (though their issue was similar but not the same) I would appreciate any and all help you can give me. TYIA

I don't know in which version exactly it happened but a few weeks earlier i was able to edit cookies like we can on all other browsers, but today suddenly i cannot.

I expected it to be a simple double-click and i can edit the cookie key name or value but it doesn't let me edit, it opens the detailed view about that cookie. I looked EVERYWHERE and could NOT find any way to edit the cookies for hours and this is really frustrating as a dev. This is important to troubleshoot many kinds of bugs when I am developing an app.

"Verification of this link failed due to an error" when selecting a hyperlink. I then select "Skip verification" and the link is made.

This happens on all hyperlinks. Has been happening for at least 6 months.

How can I fix or prevent this message? Thank you.

When browsing in Firefox and I'm trying to select buttons to click, Firefox often now shows me a menu instead of allowing me to click. I have to migrate away from the button elsewhere on the page a few times and then get back to the button. Sometimes that works. Sometimes it doesn't. Why is it doing this now?

why are some of my YouTube videos not showing up at all in FIREFOX? also says I don't have access to "community tab" on Youtube which I do. None of these problems with GOOGLE CHROME - why is Firefox being so glitchy? its become a terrible browser.

Hello, my mac ran out of battery. When I restared it, the firefox page restarted, but I can't see it. When I click on it in the app scrolling menu, nothing turns up. It's like it is there, but as a ghost, invisible. When I close down firefox, and restart, it's still exactly the same. I had hundreds of tabs open there, and I don't want to loose that session. When I open a new window, it works, but I can't make the prevous one appear. What is going on, what to do? I'm quite desperate about it, already spent hours looking for solutions.

Po przeinstalowaniu systemu i wgraniu Mozilli mam problem z otwieraniem plików. Brakuje mi możliwości jak ze zdjęcia, które jest z instrukcji jak to robić. Przykładowo pliki .pdf zapisuj się i otwieraj od razu, wszystko fajnie. Ale już pliki .msg czy .eml nie chc otworzyć się automatycznie w Outlook'u i nie widzę nigdzie opcji zaznaczenia "zawsze otwieraj podobne pliki" czy jak to tam szło dokładnie. Bardzo proszę o pomoc gdyż bardzo mocno utrudnia to pracę i użytkowanie przegladarki.
