Can I recover my emails if I uninstall Firefox & then reinstall it?

When prompted Firefox does not load correctly, but once I get yahoo emails loaded I can access them. Can I uninstall & then reinstall firefox to try to get it to work… (tuilleadh eolais)

What Firefox files or folders must I copy from my old Windows 10 laptop (which will not boot) to my new Windows 11 laptop with Firefox?

My wife's old Windows 10 HP laptop quit working last week do to some Operating System failure while it was trying to do an update. It finally did a reboot and now it is useless, at least as it is! It will NOT complete the boot process after trying all of the options offered. All that I am able to is exit out of Windows to a "DOS prompt." I am able to get to the Mozilla Firefox folder and others contain within. The new Windows 11 laptop I bought her is working fine with a fresh Firefox browser installed about a week ago. What she wants is her web links, settings and saved passwords "copied" from the old laptop and installed on the new one! We have no idea how many there are to retrieve! I'm hoping that there might only be one folder that I can copy via "command line" prompt to a USB drive and move the file(s) to the new laptop the same way. Can anyone tell me what I need to know? Why does Firefox keep losing my open windows and tabs after a restart?

Over the last 5 or 6 months, Firefox seems to have lost the capacity to remember my open tabs if my Mac is forced to restart. These open tabs are vital to my workflow. If this can't be solved, I shall have to migrate to another browser, which is something I do not wish to do.

My Firefox version is 147.0.4; my computer a Mac Studio 2025 M3 Ultra; my OS Tahoe 26.3.

Please advise.

I have upgraded my PC from Windows 10 to Windows 11 and my Firefox bookmarks have disappeared. I understand that Firefox keeps a copy of my bookmarks which appear each time I start Firefox, so how can I make them appear again automatically when I open Firefox?
