It only happens on some websites (Wikipedia for one) and doesn't happen anywhere else in my system. I was unable to root out the reason for this and all solutions seem to be for when there are boxes instead. I don't see boxes, only Russian letters for some reason.

Right now when I right-click to translate a word or a full page, it automatically picks one of my country’s regional languages as the default. I only want translations to go to English, but I can’t find any setting in Firefox to change that. How do I make English the default (and only) translation language?

I recently switched back to Mozilla Firefox as my primary browser, and I have been very happy with the switch. I was pleased (but not surprised) to see the new option to block AI enhancements. The first feature this blocks seems to be web page translations, which did surprise me. Web translation certainly predates LLMs. Is there a possibility an older translation feature might be made available for users opting out of AI? I know language is the specialty of these programs, so if you have not continued support for other translation options, I would understand.

Actually, I need to add sinhala language to the Firfox transalator. There isn't sinhalese to translate any kind of website or other article etc. So if i can add sinhala language to the firfox translator it can be verry helped full and usefull for me. So i kindly inform you to send me any meterial or technical information to fix that.

bonjour , j'ai un problème avec le corecteur d'orthographe de firefox, la case Vérifier l’orthographe pendant la saisie est coché et quand j'écris pratiquement tous les mots sont surlignés en rouge et quand je clic droit sur un mot çela me donne une solution farfelue , par exemple si je clic sur pratiquement cela me propose : prearrangement merci de votre aide cordialement

sinhala language not in the list of translating languages but sinhala language can use for translated webpages and read them i tried to insert as you instructed but i couldn't do it pl. help me to get sinhala language translations

Every time I use translate I need to select the destination language. Am I missing something because this is really annoying. It's quicker to screenshot and use a third party translator which is frankly mad.

Please add a fixed access key for the 'Translate button'. I also recommend introducing an automatic website translation function. Thank!

How can I control which languages are default in the translate tab module thing?

It always comes up with "Translate from Spanish, To English". And I have to manually choose every time, which takes up time.

I wish to have it defaulted as "Dutch -> English". I've already se the setting to "Always offer to translate" and "Always translate dutch", but I still have to do it manually sometimes.

Hello Mozilla Firefox Team,

I would like to request that Firefox include the Somali language for website translation.

I choose Firefox because I have been told it is more secure, but currently, it does not support Somali. This makes it difficult for me to read news and websites in my native language.

Adding Somali support would provide a better user experience for Somali speakers and improve access to online information. It would also encourage me and others to continue using Firefox as our preferred browser.
