Yesterday on my linux computer I noticed that my container setup ise back to the default setting. Now I'm using my windows laptop, and it is als back to the defaults. I'm afraid the same thing will happen when I start using my windows desktop. Should I poll the network cable and delete my firefox sync data, so I can hopefully save my containers setup? Or is this not going to help, and I'm fucked anyway :)

I was looking for an item that would be a couple of years back in my history, only to discover that my history now only goes back a year and 3 months… Exactly, as of today, I don't know if that's meaningful. Does anyone have any idea what might've happened, and how I can restore the rest of my history? Thank you!

I'm on a Mac using Mojave, with Firefox version 115.8.

I'm having trouble using a particular site, that I used to be able to in particular clicking on sub menu's from a context menu if that is the correct term, meaning I cannot click an item/button to reveal a menu below it. From the image supplied there are 2 'menu's' with a < character that when clicked should reveal a sub menu of items, works in Edge/Chrome etc.. the only extension I have is Keeper.

When I'm sending attachments in Thunderbird some of my clients are recieving the email but not the attachments, though when they look on the phone they can see the attachment ?

What can I change in my outsettings for attachments to solve this issue

I have been using Firefox Developer Edition for many years without any problem. I sync Firefox on my different PCs, so they are basically all the same in setup. Unfortunately, Firefox now crashes constantly on my main PC. I have therefore temporarily switched to the default FF variant.

Of course I have tried all the steps shown here on the forum but without any result that I can see. Both in safe mode with or without addons. No matter FF crashed.

Hi, first the last update tried a few times over some days to install. Never got confirmation that it has been installed successfully. When I go to "About Firefox" I'm getting the information that I'm using the latest version.

Now I have problems, mainly when using facebook (especially when I try to play games through facebook) that Firefox uses enormous amounts of CPU and Memory. This does not happen all the time but at least in 70% of tries. I attached 2 screenshots

If this happens I'm not able to close Firefox the normal way but have to kill the process in the task manager.

Any quick help would be appreciated. I would also like to know if I'm the only one experiencing this or if it's a common problem.

Thru Firefox, I use Tineye to find related photos - I use it all the time, it's been great - I always use a VPN and have never had problems until now (as of yesterday). Now it won't search, a verify you're human window comes up, and I have to keep clicking squares, which I do - but then it says to allow cookies and start over. Well I don't want to allow cookies (I assume it's one of the options I have thru Firefox to block cookies), and I can't find where to allow cookies even if I did (I went to Firefox preferences etc) and I don't want to disable my VPN. Maybe I should mention that I just added or started a Mozilla account, as I have had immense trouble with my aol emails, and am trying to move everything over to a gmail account. My sign in to Firefox was the aol email, and I had to (try, I thought I did it) add another account, which I think I did successfully. So it was right after that, that all this started. Help please! I was using chrome for years and now just because firefox on android let's us install add-on like it's desktop version I'm switching to firefox. as a developer I need to learn about the features firefox offers to developers or ask for any features that are missing right now, so my current issue is about the pictures I will attach. I want to have more information about the element that I'm inspecting right in the tool-tip over it for example it's active font-family or things like that. It took me sometime to figure out how to find the active font of the target element thanks to This post. but in chrome it's showed in the tool-tip.

So this problem keeps happening to me - I click "upload" on a website and nothing happens. For example, trying to upload photos to my website or upload files to a platform. Frustrating. To work around it I've been using a separate tab of Google chrome but it's such a pain to keep swapping back and forth. Please help!!

Hey folks, I've been noticing something peculiar with Firefox that's been bothering me lately. Whenever I try to watch videos on YouTube in resolutions above 1080p, they tend to randomly buffer. It's quite frustrating, especially when I know my internet connection is stable and other browsers don't seem to have this issue. Has anyone else experienced this problem with Firefox? And if so, do you have any tips or solutions to share? Thanks in advance for any insights!

I want to keep browser open after closing last tab. I changed the boolean parameter "browser. tabs. closeWindowWithLastTab" to "false" but the browser still closes with closing of last tab.

What else is required ?

Do Firefox menus appear differently in Windows 10 than they do in Windows 7?

In Windows 7, I see the normal system menus - square corners, light blue menu item highlights, 3D column line on the left, dark drop shadow below and to the right of the menu.

In Windows 10 I notice differences - gray-highlighted menu items, rounded corners, no drop shadow, etc.

I'm not using any code to style the menus.

Sync just does NOT work. I installed FF on my Mac brand new and fresh... brand new machine. Signed into Sync. NOTHING. After 6-7 HOURS... nothing. It just gets NOTHING AT ALL from my Windows Desktop.

I've signed out of ALL Firefox/Mozilla sync sessions... signed in clean- all browsers are up to date. And the about:sync-log page shows a LONG streak of errors... NON STOP ERRORS.

Why?! Why can't we just sync extensions to install and bookmarks across machines? How is this that hard for Mozilla?!

Day after day and attempt after attempt of failures for a basic function of the browser.

Here is the text of the latest log and showing constant connection errors- mind you NOTHING is breaking on my internet as I'm often streaming things and watching stuff while surfing, or others in the house are. Our connection, and Firefox getting online, are all working fine. I am at a loss. I don't understand how this is so terribly broken out of the box that you can't just sign in and let it talk to their servers. I know Google has billions behind Chrome, but this shouldn't be so 1990's bad by comparison to Chrome sync.

On my iMac 2017, up-to-date OS, Firefox won't load YouTube. It only shows the spaces for videos. Attached is a screen shot with the console info, but I don't know what it's telling me. However, on my MacBook YouTube works fine, so maybe I have a setting wrong on the iMac? Meanwhile, I just switch to Safari. Thanks for any help

Needed to look through my April history (pages looked at) in the Library. I had APRIL history up, ready to look through it. I tried to delete one page and it DELETED the whole MONTH. How do i get the APRIL history back? APRIL is gone from the list. jumps to March after the last 7 days

I went to RESTORE but this talks about BOOKMARKS It shows for today may 7, 149 items for example then it shows April 29, april 9, april 4 april 1, each with about 150 items but if I were to click on these it says will replace all BOOKMARKS,

When I would mouse-over a thumbnail on the Youtube home page I use to get a video preview with sound and text controls displayed. Video preview and controls are now missing on homepage thumbnails. Is there a way to get preview and controls back ?

I cleared the cache and cookies...no effect. Problem does not exist with Edge browser.
