I can go to xfinity email but when trying to access email it will say the service is not available right now. Before the latest firefox update I had no problem with accessing comcast email with Firefox. I can access email thru chrome without a problem. I have cleared cookies and cache but it made no difference. What do you think is going on. Thanks.

Hello everyone. The calendar add on at the side of my Gmail account does not open after the latest Firefox update (116.0.1), but it does work in troubleshoot mode. Could you please advise? Thank you.

As of this morning, Sat 8-5-23, Outlook mail loads, I see a list of new mail in my inbox, but I'm unable to read any mail, or see any of my drafts. It loads, and works on Bing, and amazingly works ok in Firefox Private Browsing. Win 11 FF 116.0.1

Since a few days, it is not possible to copy-and-paste any external text or content into the text field of WhatApp Web on Firefox. It works fine on Chrome. Also text manually copied from a previous WA message can be pasted.

We tried on other PCs with Firefox and Chrome, same situation. So it seems to be a problem of Firefox latest version.

I use Firefox a lot. I have about 36 windows of firefox open and some of those can have a LOT of tabs on/in them.

I have recently "evolved" to using a computer monitor. Before then it was an old flat screen TV - 1336 x 768 resolution (there about).

Now I have a 1080p monitor and things are different.

I use Node-Red (dashboards) and they took a beating with the new size.

I've set THOSE tabs to 133% magnification - and yes that isn't the correct size to emulate the TV. But I only thought of doing this a fair way down the track of trying to rearrange the layouts. (MY MISTAKE)

But I realised that at least not too long down that rabbit hole.

So that WINDOW is set to 133% zoom. But just now I tried to zoom out of another tab on that window and realised that the zoom on the other tabs is changed too.  :(

Am I missing any tricks? I know I could move THOSE tabs to a whole new window and that's that. But in the bigger picture I just want to check.

When I use a vpn with firefox (not the firefox vpn), I cannot open normally blocked websites such as twitter or youtube, and instead they open in a sort of half-loaded state (see image). I don't face this problem with other browsers. I have tried deleting and reinstalling firefox, but it doesn't seem to work. Can anyone help out?

The below live thread has always, since the start of its creation back at the outbreak of the war (so Feb/Mar 2022 time-frame) loaded slow and continues to load slow in FF (all version since then until now) and it loads a lot faster in Chromium based browsers. I've never personally dug into the page loading, but some aspects of how it renders embedded tweets seem super slow, and that's nothing to do with any changes Elon has made recently to Twitter/X... like I said, it been happening since Feb/Mar 2022 when the live thread was first created.

I just think that live thread is a great test case on where Firefox can measure and maybe improve some page load and render times.

I went to about:config and set my privacy.globalprivacycontrol values to all True. Yet, when I go https://globalprivacycontrol.org/, the website states that the GPC signal is not detected. Is any other action required? I am using Firefox v16.0.2 on a Mac computer running Ventura 13.5.

If I go to https://media.telstra.com.au/home.mobile.android.html using Firefox and then click on the "Webmail" button, I'm taken to https://email.telstra.com/login from which I am unable to log-in.

However, if I do the same using Safari as a browser, I'm taken to a page entitled myid.telstra.com (with a lock symbol in front of it), from which I CAN log-in.

Can anyone offer an explanation. Note, this situation with Firefoix kind of happened overnight some period ago - I had been successfully logging in using Firefox for months/years befoe hand.

Logins appear on log-in pages as soon as I type anything in the user box. I have not told Firefox to save any logins or passwords, I do not want it to do that. But on the "saved logins" page after going to the Passwords item on the main menu (three lines) it says No Logins Are Found. None. How do I make sure none are saved, since obviously some are being saved somewhere? And how can I get rid of the ones that appear, so must be saved somewhere? I use Windows 10, and Firefox with the latest updates as of August 2, 2023. Norton 360 is installed. Thank you for help with this.

On some webpage, I experience delay response when I trying to search sometime. For example, in Google homepage after typing something or even gibberish the page froze and not responding for about 10 second but the browser is still functioning (meaning I can still move other tabs or open option). Once that 10s delay is over, it responded with my result. And something when I when to search back something again(not in the homepage), more of the time is response back fast like 0.2s but other time the same 10s delay. This problem also happens in some other website but not all in their search bar. I have try in safe mode. disable all my extension, reinstall Mozilla Firefox, check any windows update and such. Also other browser does not have this problem such as chrome and brave. If this problem still persisting then I would such to other browser but prefer not to as I quite fond of Firefox. The following just started a week or so ago. When I start Windows 11 (latest version), Firefox (build 116.0 64 bit) automatically starts and the page that displays is attempting to access one of my Microsoft accounts. I tried toolkit.winRegisterApplicationRestart. but nothing changed. There is nothing in my Startup folder related to Firefox, and msconfig doesn't list anything as a startup process.

What's strange is that this just started happening. I've used Firefox as long as I can remember, and have never had this issue.

Short of uninstalling Firefox and reinstalling it, does anyone have any suggestion(s)? Thanks.

I know the answer to this is probably going to be along the lines of this is not possible, but I thought I'd ask anyway since none of the information is entirely clear. Or answers my exact question.

I have one desktop install of firefox and I have two android ones. I have all three synced to one firefox account, so it's easy to grab links I saved while wiki diving on something. While this works perfectly for the desktop side of things, the mobile side is where the issue arises.

Currently all my bookmarks from both mobile firefox accounts are merged into one long set, regardless of device. While the desktop ones have their own folder. Is there a way to keep the bookmarks from each device in their own separate folder? Like say instead of having one big mobile bookmarks folder, having one named DeviceX, and the other DeviceY?

It's still semi functional on desktop where I have more screen real estate and have to deliberately go to the mobile bookmarks folder, but on the phones it can be confusing when a set of bookmarks from device 1 mixes randomly into those of device 2. As it can become a lot harder to keep track of things.

Now I know one can turn off syncing of bookmarks. This is not what I'm looking for as I do still want to be able to share them between all three devices. Just have them more organised.

I also know one can make different accounts for say work or personal, but again I want them all to sync, just not mix them into one list.

So in short is there a way to be able to have two android devices into a threeway sync and keep the bookmarks separate? Or is my only option the round abound way of making subfolders and hope I remember to save in those?

In this website, written in markdown if I'm getting this right, the equations are not displaying in my browser.

My browser is displaying corretly all the examples in the other questions on math rendering, and also in similar books (here, here).

I've deleted cookies and cache, disabled extentions/adblocker, tried safe mode, without any change.

I have the same problem with all Edge and Chrome too and even on another computer. I thought the problem was in the website but the equations are rendering fine when I test them on https://www.browserling.com/.

I get no warning when auto updates begin installation. I get notified about 1/2 way through the process. The pc (Win 10 pro 64bit) slows to a crawl for 5-10 minutes, then the install finishes, & then it's another 5-10 minutes before the pc is usable.

I would really appreciate a "update is available" notification, which I would agree to at a convenient time. This is really getting to be problematic. Other browsers that do auto updates don't hose my pc.

I am running Firefox on Mint Debian edition, I find the Youtube playback very low volume preset at about 1/4 of max, I try set it to the max but it returned the same after restart. I start FF in trouble shooting mode to disable theme and extension but didn't change thing, I remove and reinstall FF also did not help. I find something strange that, on the Help menu it said the updates disabled by system administrator but I did not do that, it is now on 116.0 64bits, any comment ?

I just upgraded my Ubuntu 18.04 to 20.04 and found that Firefox (which was working perfectly before), does not work properly. Graphics (eg. profile pics on various websites) are not displayed, buttons of websites are often missing, some websites are displayed in a weird "zoomed out" way.

With Google Chrome, I don't have these issues so it does not seem to be a Linux thing...

I already tried reinstalling Firefox, but to no avail...

Help is appreciated as I would not want to migrate away from Firefox which has worked well for me for years...

I am unable to sign into Costco.com using Firefox. I get an error message:

    "Bad Request - Header Field Too Long
    HTTP Error 400. A request header field is too long."

Turning off all extensions didn't help. Opening a private browsing window DID work. Using Chrome DID work.

My original question was how to prevent McAfee demands to be installed. The reply was "That isn't a Firefox issue but McAfee support to resolve for you. Also check with McAfee site and support about their software issue. Also Firefox Browser doesn't do popups to buy a product or software. " However the title of the popup IS Firefox. Would you suggest that McAfee is the originator of the malware?
