New addons on Firefox become blank on restarting the browser.

They return when I manually disable and enable them once.

How to fix this? Doesn't happen to older addons.

when i try to use my banking app the payment section shows page not found. bank chat person said it was extensions in my browser. i downloaded firefox , i guess it has extensions too. can i disable the extension or extensions that cause this and which ones do this

The 'add "outlook.live.com" as an application for mailto links' keeps popping up continuously after I click to X to delete the banner message. How do I disable it? Firefox should have a "don't remind me again" option. I do not want to add mailto links or make any changes. Thank You!

How come there is no option to turn off "Firefox Translation"? I speak three languages and every time I visit foreign web site, Firefox suggest translation to me. It's annoying.

I looked for a way to remove apple maps from being the default Map when I search using Firefox on windows 10. Its not helpful since half of the info isnt listed and I would like google maps instead like it had always been.

since today the Addons "uBlockOrigin" and "Ghostery" are not anymore working in Firefox. In Chrome all works fine.

When i load a YT-Video, i got an Ad, the Video is black, i see nothing but i hear the ad. This is since today and i never encountered that.

Someone can help me with that?

How do I get the + sign back on my tabs? After latest update I can only close tabs instead of opening new tab, and I am talking about after opening several tabs. When I have seven tab open, I have to do ctrl+t to open new tab instead of just clicking on the + sign that use to be at end of tabs. Yes, I do use custom settings. This happened before but I was able to fix by going to tabs under about:config, but it seems the setting is no longer there.

Before the recent 1-2 updates, pdfs,pictures and .torrent meta files used to get saved in temp folder which I LOVED very much. Recently these are getting save in my download folder instead of saving in the temp folder.

I changed this setting to allows ask. Still the files are getting saved in the download folder after opening.

Please assist me to resolve this issue. Thanks.

I like Ctrl+Shift+B to open the Library (Manage Bookmarks/Show All Bookmarks). For maybe two years I was using this, but it stopped working in 117:

Dorando keyconfig isn't current. Shortkeys won't even install and probably won't do what I want anyway. AutoHotkey will do it, but I'd rather not use it for this.

Does anyone know how I can get a config.js to open the Library when I hit Ctrl+Shift+B?

Is there any way I can completely disable horizontal scrolling? I'm using a laptop with a trackpoint (lenovo x230, Windows 10) and it's not terribly accurate, which means scrolling whilst a youtube video is going often makes it track backwards or forwards, and another website I use uses a horizontal click to send me to the next page, which sucks. I would prefer to just be able to disable it entirely. Thanks!

I use an translator extension for firefox for russian so I do not need this integrated tool and it's annoying to see it everytime I open a russian page. Please help me, I don't know what the source is of this translator but I can tell it's not from an extensions as I deleted every extension and tried, not worked.

Hi. I was just looking at Google Photos on both Firefox and Chrome. Chrome had a bigger picture because the window had only the tabs bar and the address bar, and Firefox has an additional title bar. I was wondering if it would be possible to remove the title bar so the picture on both browsers were the same size?

Hi, i have problem with uninstalling uBlock Origin i cant remove them from extension tab. I tried refreshing firefox, reinstalling, opening firefox with troubleshoot mode and still nothing i dont know why is so difficult.Even when i reinstalling firefox this addon onstalling by itself even when im not logged in.Please help me. So I wanted to read PDFs trough firefox with a dark theme, looked up how to do so online, and people say to change the "about:config" option "pdfjs.viewerCssTheme" to "2" instead of "0", I did that, tried opening a PDF, nothing happend, it was still black text on white backgrounds. Tried closing firefox, reopened the pdf, nothing happened, still white backgrounds. Tried to check if it might have to do with that specific pdf file's config, created my own PDF file from a word document, tried to open it, still white backgrounds. Tried disabling extensions, (which I use four of, UBlock Origin, SponsporBlock, Return Youtube Dislike and Translate this page), didn't work. Tried enabling the option on my laptop, didn't work. Tried a bunch of other stuff and it still won't work. My Firefox version is 109 and I'm using Windows 10 I also don't want to use the console/file edit thing with grayscale(1) invertcolor(1) or whatever it was since it also reverses the colors of images instead of just the backgrounda nd text color.

I accidentally right clicked and hit "Remove from Address Bar" on the Reader View icon and now it's gone. I tried typing "about:config" into the browser and searching "reader" then selecting the "reader.parse-on-load.force-enabled" toggle to "true" and that didn't get it back. Is there a way I can get it back?

One quality of life thing I really miss after switching from Chrome is the option to "Goto ip" when you highlight and right click on a local ip address.

I do a lot or networking and am going to local ip addresses all the time (ie 192.168.1.1 or 10.0.20.15). When I highlight an address in the local ranges in Chrome it gives the "Goto" option, but Firefox always offers "Search Google for"

I really miss this option and unfortunately all my searching has not yield a solution since search engines cant quite make sense of my requests.

Hopefully someone here can nail something down.
