The update 140.13 messed up my computer-again. My Mozilla Thunderbird emails, folders are gone, my address book is still there. All personal email messages and folders are gone. I am a member of the Foster Care Review Board and I can not recreate my folders that were saved with information. I have information on the state court system, but now the business and information messages are gone. They are just as important as to what the court system has. This happened with the last update and it was a horrible mess. I was never able to get anything at all back from Thunderbird. I had to set up emails again recreate email folders and individual saved folders to move forward. This time, like the last update, the computer keeps crashing when Firefox is open, the update changed settings in Firefox and on my computer. Wiped out restore points and my partition drive. I need to get rid of this update and don't tell me how dangerous going backwards is because what happened now is absolutely worse. I run anti-spyware, clearing cache, etc. on a daily basis. I have anti-virus programs running 24-7. No problems whatsoever until this update. Someone please tell me how to get rid of it. I am looking for another email program and another browser. I have used Firefox forever, but I am done, moving on to something that doesn't change my settings, delete my email programs or crash my computer. I do not need or want this stress. I am using Windows 10. Any insight to restore my Thunderbird folders so I can move them to a non Mozilla email program?

Ever since latest update (153.0 (64 bits) everything crash. I can open Firefox, but as soon as I enter a website, regardless of what it is, it won't load.

If i try to close the app, there's always a process that keeps running. It can't close. And if I try to force it it says that access is refused.

After that I keep receiving these errors that Firefox is already open and I need to close the last process of Firefox to continue but even if I say to close, it keeps repeating until my PC finally crash.

Everything was working 100% until Firefox updated itself. No Windows update nothing.

I can't even send crash report since it does the same error.

My PC was just updated to Firefox 153 and since the app seems to freeze regularly - particularly when accessing (older) silly games such as Bubble Pet Saga - a simplistic CBC game. https://www.cbc.ca/kids/games/play/bubble-pet-saga

Firefox keeps shutting down and it will open up when I tap on the icon. I have to reload it to make it work, It seems like I have to do this everytime I shut the pc.

about every 15 to 20 minutes I hear a tone from the speaker and then Firefox crashes, on some occasions another msg box briefly appears saying something about Microsoft windows but then it disappears before it can be read fully.

I’m using the latest stable Firefox package from the official Mozilla repository for Ubuntu, on a system with 32GB of RAM.

I’m also using Microsoft Teams for work calls, in the browser (because Linux) and I notice that Ubuntu has killed the FF process twice last week because it was using too much memory - see attached image. I’ve only had 4 or 5 Teams calls last week so this isn’t a great success rate. It seems that after half an hour or so, FF has hogged so much memory that the OS feels the need to kill it.

If this is a known issue: are there any known workarounds?

If this is not a known issue :Can I help by providing troubleshooting data? How?

To update my Intel graphics drive, I had downloaded and installed Intel support tool, which then used my default browser Firefox to scan and download the missing driver. After I was done though Firefox crashed and didn't open back up. Beyond My Experience. As I Bring up Firefox Upper Right Flag Yo Update Firefox. IF I DISMISS, TROUBLE STARTS. FOR NO REASON ACCUWEATHR APPEARS. IF I X Firefox Shuts Down. Instead to Remain Online, I have to Use a Bookmark and Continue. Not in My Bookmarks, How Can I Stop That Annoyance Pop Up. Thanks, Joe

My tabs crash all the time. Sometimes it'll go a while without crashing, other times it's literally every two seconds. Particularly if I'm doing anything that doesn't autosave. Thanks. Sometimes it's just whatever tab I'm on (or occasionally I'll click on one I've had open in the background only to discover it crashed at some point, other times (and not infrequently!) it crashes the entire browser. Sometimes when it does that, it also logs me out of everything for no particular reason as a little sadistic cherry on top. The passwords are still saved I'm just logged out of EVERYTHING. A few times, it seemed to have made my bookmarks go away, but force-stopping it and re-entering made them reappear, so they weren't deleted. I don't know what's going on but I'm at my wit's end. The crash reports mostly just say EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION_WRITE (I haven't checked every single one individually since there's too many, but the ones I've clicked on all say that as far as I recall). If this keeps up I'm going to have to switch browsers or something because I'm actually losing it.

Firefox frequently and continuously force-closes the entire program on me, multiple times a day. I have tried updating my computer, checking for Firefox updates, and any extension updates that could be affecting this. HOW DO YOU MAKE THIS STOP?

Hello, Whenever I open Firefox, it crashes repeatedly. This has been going on for at least a couple of weeks, whether it's right when I open it or hours later when I'm in the middle of something. I've disabled extensions, ran it in troubleshoot, and done the steps advised to no avail. Any help would be greatly appreciated as this has rendered Firefox unusable.
