Browser shuts down within 10 -20 seconds of going to a website, and I get a crash report which I have clicked to forwarded each time to Mozilla.

Also have a new error message at the top of the browser that says: "The security sandbox is disabled. Your configuration is unsupported and less secure." (image attached)

Not sure if that is related or not.

Dragging and Dropping folders to upload on dropbox.com have worked flawlessly before Firefox 150.0

Now in Firefox 150.0, dragging and dropping a folder will result in the tab crash.

Been having tab crashes every couple of minutes - doesn't matter what the site is, the tab will crash out and I'll have to refresh. I have a laptop that is synced that I also use that doesn't have this issues - it's isolated to the PC.

Tried sfc, DISM, hardware and memory checks - all come back good. I'm inclined to believe it could be something on the operating system and not hardware, but I also recently reinstalled Windows. I had another thought that it could be something with JavaScript (seemed like a common theme in the error reports, but I'm not 100% what I'm looking at or for).

I am experiencing significant stability issues with Firefox. When I use YouTube, the entire browser frequently hangs (becomes unresponsive) and eventually crashes. This does not happen on all websites, but it is consistent when playing video content on YouTube.

• Symptoms: The browser "stacks" or freezes completely; I cannot click tabs or menus until the browser finally closes/crashes.

• Extensions: I am currently using extensions like SponsorBlock, uBlock origin. I am unsure if this is the cause, but the issue persists during video playback.

• Hardware: I am running this on a laptop with an 16gb 4800mhz RAM, i7 12th Gen processor and an RTX 3070 GPU.

1. Is there a known compatibility issue between current Firefox builds and SponsorBlock or similar video-modifying extensions?

1. Could this be related to hardware acceleration settings with my NVIDIA GPU?

1. What steps should I take to provide crash logs to help identify the root cause?

Okay. So I downloaded Firefox on my chromebook from flathub, but it keeps crashing. I open a new tab: it crashes. I close a tab: it crashes. I don't open or close anything: it crashes. I don't touch anything: it crashes.

I've says that either my theme or one of my add-ons is causing the crashes but I removed my theme and it still crashes and I can't remove any add-on because it crashes if I try to open a new tab.

Now, did/does anyone else have this problem or am I just stupid and missing a very obvious thing.

I am not a computer nerd I can only describe what is happening. I am addicted to puzzles and do them every day but am encountering problems nearly every day this week of the puzzle pieces not responding to mouse and have to shut down the computer. At other times I am kicked out of the site and returned to my desk top. No amount of trying to then get back into firefox is useless until much later on. Why is this happening?

Hello, Firefox has been giving me some troubles lately and I can't figure out how to resolve the problem. Since I haven't found any way to consistently reproduce crashes, it is very hard for me to tell if Troubleshoot Mode also experiences the crashes, and the time I can spend doing that is very limited. As previously stated, it is very inconsistent, but relatively frequent, sometimes it crashes very soon and several times in a day, others it doesn’t at all. Sometimes it crashes with several tabs open, sometimes with only one; sometimes it crashes while using a webapp, others it does so on the newspaper page. It might be more frequent while there are Electron Webapps open, but it's more a hunch than anything, since sometimes it happens without those. I face an issue with the browser crashing when in google meeting (meet.google.com). The problem persist in a new profile created with 'firefox.exe -P' and also in the troubleshooting mode. The crash is triggered when I am in the google meeting (with allowed microphone) and I manipulate with windows of the browser - across multiple monitors (switching tabs, moving tabs between windows, closing firefox windows, opening them, "dropping" the tabs onto another applications - chrome, spotify - which opens a new firefox window). Sometime the crash happened once I closed the google meeting tab. Unfortunately it happens "randomly" and I was not able to come with a specific series of steps to reproduce the crash. But it happens always when I am in the meeting and play with the windows for a while.

The crash: Firefox freezes for a few seconds (~3s) and then closes itself - all windows. %appdata%\Mozilla\Firefox\Crash Reports\pending contains a new .dmp file, but it has 0 bytes and no .extra file is created, hence it cannot be submitted via about:crashes. The crash reporter is not opened when firefox crashes. The attached troubleshooting information are from the new clear profile where the crash happens as well.

my firefox keep crashing when i join google meet and i need to do multitask so i open another firefox windows(private or not) it always crash few second after, i have tried the trouble shoot mode its still crashing, even the new windows from SSO request do trigger my firefox to crash. when the browser crash it does offer me to restore my session

The dialogue box says "The application is exiting and cannot service this request"

Nonetheless Firefox seem to be functioning as I would expect apart from the irritating appearance of the dialogue box that I have described.

I attached a scan of the dialogue box - how do I prevent it appearing and/or is it signifying anything important,

hi when I play on facebook june's journey the game starts to crash in several different ways, windows 10 is supposed to start on october but I have been having lots of problems on mine since they send the end agreement notice, I am a 76 grandparent and I am not interested in new changes I am ok with my computer as it is, I've paid for windows 10 when it came out, and i will not pay again for a new one. Appreciate all the help I can get from you and many thanks in advance for your help

Hi, The versions of Firefox since Feb 2026 have been extremely memory hungry on Windows 10, even though I have the option to restore tabs on demand set to TRUE in the config.

The memory hungriness has got so bad now that even on my 16GB machine, about once a week I find that my computer has suddenly run out of memory without warning and my entire screen goes black (not just within the Firefox window, the entire screen). When the computer gets into that state I am unable to use Ctrl+Alt+Del to get back to Task Manager, and the only way out is to hard-reset my computer.

This means that whenever I want to do anything else remotely memory hungry, such as running my research code, or a game, or a Zoom meeting, I have to kill Firefox first. But I sometimes even end up with black screen when trying to use Word or Excel alongside Firefox.

Essentially, Firefox is becoming unusable on my desktop, and its bookmark feature is borderline unusable on mobile now since the update a month ago made it impossible to change which folder I save my new mobile bookmarks in.

So if I have two more black screen clashes I think I will give up using Firefox entirely after being loyal to it for about 15 years. This is extremely disappointing.
