About 3-4 months ago I started experiencing frequent tab crashes, to the point where if I have even 2 tabs open, one will be non-responsive until the crash page appears. Sometimes not even then, as I've just had YouTube up and it will crash with shocking regularity.

I used to be able to have 20+ tabs open plus a game with no issue at all. I've done nothing different with my computer, no new hardware, no new software besides installing and uninstalling games. My upload and download speeds remain the same. Only Firefox is being a stinker.

What's happening?

Every time I attempt to log into X.com the Firefox browser stops working entirely. Dead. Nothing. Won't open or function. Need to restart my computer to access and use Firefox. This does not happen when I use Chrome.

Firefox keeps suddenly crashing, I have reset Firefox, deleted it and reinstalled it, I have used DISM and SFC to repair any issues and I have set up a new profile within Firefox with no extensions, but still I have the same issue, either tabs suddenly crash or the whole Firefox does.

Tabs will crash over and over again. I can barely look at any given page for longer than a minute or two. What happened?? Firefox was never like this before. It just crashed in the middle of me typing this LMAO. Using Brave in the meantime. This is ridiculous.

While playing Free Games.org and Free Mahjong also on AOL Mail Firefox crashes after a few moments. I performed security scans and restarted, still crashing.

Firefox keeps crashing I've followed all steps, still crashing - memory / disk/ system/restart/troubleshooting I did have animaze installed but removed and still crashing

Firefox just updated to 152 this evening on my Windows 11 Pro system. It seems slow compared to prior versions. Also , every time you log out , it crashes and activates crashreporter which files the report. Any clues? Nothing changed on the system except for Firefox.

I am running Firefox 151.0.4 on a Win 11 (25H2) AMD Ryzen 5, 32 GB ram. Every time I close Firefox, it generates a crash report. That takes several minutes during which I can't start a new Firefox window. The crash report says the report was submitted successfully but when I look in about:crashes the reports shows they need to be submitted.

I ran in troubleshoot mode and disabled all plugins and did not see any extensions listed. I restarted and it still crashes. Firefox seems to run fine. But the crashes when it closes are annoying and disruptive.

I usually use firefox to download things, and watch videos, however, sometimes, when I change tabs, try to minimise firefox, close a pop up, even if I just pause a video, it randomly decides to instead completely freeze and require the app to be completely restarted, and it occasionally decides to roll back my search history.

In fact, Firefox crashed as I was writing this, i'm lucky my progress was saved, these issues have made firefox completely unusable about 70%-80% of the time, and i'm running out of browsers to switch to, opera is run on lies, chrome is just bad, and now firefox is dying.

Just for reference, no other application or web browser that has ever been on my current device has ever acted like this, I'm currently using a decent PC running Windows 10

My browser started crashing after the latest update, and it still crashes even in Safe Mode. It doesn’t close immediately upon opening; instead, it shuts down suddenly after about one minute or longer. This issue never occurred before and only started appearing after the recent update. Since the 152.0 update I've experienced near nonstop browser crashing, it crashed twice as I was trying to type up and submit this message,

Is this a known issue or solely on my end? running 64 bit, windows 10
