Windows 11 Firefox browser 125.0.1

In Proton Mail, when I receive an email with an picture attached inline, I get the following error message: "Your browser could not verify the remote server's identity. The image might be hosted using the http protocol." Is this issue with settings in Proton or Firefox? How do I fix this? See image below. Thank you.

When searching with google it always opens a new Tab with some not working Address. Whether i just search or click on pictures or look at a picture more in detail it always opens this tab: Look at picture: At this point it is really annoying and in the settings of the browser i don't seem to find a solution. Can someone please answer how to reset firefox size after you've been using a bigger screen and go back to the laptop the top bar is lost way up and I cant catch it to move it to resize the firefox window. Using Fn and F11 to go into maximize mode doesnt help me at all cuz I end up in full screen on the FHD screen but cant grab and drag the window to resize it again - and please NO comments about using FN and F11 again. This is an issue thats been since years - cant figure out why ppl who are tryin to help think others dont know the difference between maximization and the window being bigger than the laptop screen and being lost. So FIREFOX key-shortcut for window size reset URGENT PLEASEEEE - Im having this issue couple times a week. To fix it I gotta go again to the bigger screen reduce the size of the window and then disconnect - which is soooo horrible.

Since the 2 APR 2024 FF update, Washington Post articles are not displaying fully. When opened, the article flashes the full version, then only displays the top photo and the first two paragraphs. When opened in EDGE, all articles open fully as expected. This issue is only occurring in FF.

Actions taken: Cleared cache, same result.

Please advise.

Whenever I get a link whether in an email from a verified sender or from using a site like Amazon, clicking on a link always results in "Hmm. We’re having trouble finding that site." This has happened ever since loading the most recent version of Firefox (124.0.2) and it is very, very frustrating. What is causing this? Even in "safe" mode this occurs. Please rectify this situation. I do not want to have to change browsers after more than 20 years with Firefox.

I am on a brand-new machine and having trouble setting up the Firefox browser.

When I click on a link it opens in a new window with all the tabs ready opened.

How do I open a tab without opening a new window?

Also, how do I set Yahoo.com as my default search engine?

I have Windows 11 and Firefox 124.0.2. Firefox keeps asking to reinstall. I think it is because I keep getting the message that it fails to check for updates. I don't know if I have installed the Microsoft Firefox or the direct Mozilla Firefox downloaded. Maybe that is the problem, but I am not tech savvy. I have used Firefox for many years and like it. I am also too old (83) to deal with these problems. Help!

Due to repeated issues over a week, I uninstalled Firefox days ago. Tried to Reinstall it repeatedly on same device several times. It was working before..BUT it keeps showing its downloaded on Settings but Firefox download page keeps showing "DOWNLOAD" Tried several times. Not my computer. Nothing works to resolve it.. Windows 11..

open app on desktop, closes within 40 seconds whether browsing, playing a bookmarked game or just watching opening page. I uninstalled app, reinstalled with saving bookmarks then without saving apps, it stills closes

I have at least some computer knowledge but not enough to understand the link on the crash report that says what this report means. Is there a cliff notes version of why my firefox keeps crashing. I have link to the page so I am not sure what info is needed to help me. I can give screenshots or link info. I'm not sure if it's safe to post everything on report or what is necessary.

OS: W11Ent_x64 V: 22h2 (b: 22621.3447) FF: 124.0.2 x_64 I tried several "Group Tabs" add-ons, like: Simple Tab Groups. Tab Group. And I few I can't even recall the name from. Yet, none works. Not ONE.

Now, I use Edge as well, on my corporate system that I got from work. Personal PC I use FF on.

But, the Edge Tab Grouping, which allows tabs to be "put to Eco-Sleep", while hidden the open tabs by clicking the Group-Tab Icon, is a feature I sorely miss in Firefox.

Odd, as, so many requested this feature, how come it has not been implemented over the many years of people asking?

Either way: Does anyone know a good, WORKING add-on that does the "Edge Thing" with FF tabs, please? Since, I often got like 200 tabs open, which is a real misery without Tab Grouping and "Hiding".

it keeps popping this message up "firefox is installing components needed to play audio or video on this page, please try again later" its been saying this since the new update and keeps telling me failed to check for update.
