When i do update my configuration settings changing by itself. Example, "browser.cache.disk.enable" is "false" but after every updates its always changing to "true". This happens only after updates.

Hello, I checked my RAM and has no problems, but my Firefox crashes every time, with every tab.

Hello. I've installed OnePassword as my password manager, but it will not launch from Firefox when I am trying to login to sites and forget my password. Very frustrating.

In Gmail, I repeatedly get "oops the system encountered a problem (#001)." Every other site works and Gmail works in other browsers. I haven't had any new add-ons or made any changes to Firefox (other than Firefox updates) in years. Does anyone know the fix?

My organization has been using Firefox ESR for many years. I am trying to upgrade from ESR 115.12 to ESR 128.1 The upgrade is hanging at the very end of the install. Procmon shows firefox.exe being launched in the background and hanging. When I manually run firefox.exe, it says "Unable to read configuration file". If I edit "autoconfig.js", and comment out the "general.config.filename", then everything works.

We still use the general.config.filename and have not fully transitioned to the newer policies.json configuration (we have settings in both).

Was a change made in ESR 128 that broke (or stopped supporting) the older format ?

Hi, I'm using Linux Mint 22, Firefox 129.0 (64-bit). Browser is hanging after approximately 4 hours. Not sure if this is a Firefox issue, but this is where I'm starting the troubleshooting process. My suspects are (1) the browser, (2) NVIDIA drivers (3) the new Linux Mint kernel or possibly (4) a mix of the above. This was a fresh install with default options on (Wilma). Using the latest graphics drivers for GeForceRTX 2060, driver version 555.58.02, went down to native drivers, no change. Honestly, this one has me baffled. Been troubleshooting this for 3 days. It feels like a memory leak. Nothing on the crash reports. First, browser will hang, then mouse and keyboard. Hard reboot is the only option. Any help would be appreciated.

I use Mozilla on two things, my laptop and my android cell phone. The syncing on my cell phone appears to work perfectly well. However, when I am on my laptop, I am unable to view my "Tabs from Other Devices" - It will show me tabs from days ago. I've tried manually syncing on both devices but nothing happens.

The only thing that seems to work is if I log out of my Mozilla on my cell phone and log back in but then it will stop syncing again.

If something else isn't syncing, I honestly don't notice because I don't use anything else much.

When I upload my profile picture to Mozilla accounts, it renders correctly in the browser, but when I click submit, it changes to lots of lines that give me trypophobia. It is also wrong in the Firefox browser profile icon.

Netzero says I am located in Phoenix, Az. I am in Tucson, Arizona. It won't let me change it. I have tried numerous times but to no avail. What is the solution to this? I am going crazy trying to rectify this on my own.

A few weeks ago I accidentally allowed Firefox to Block Youtube from making Viewing suggestions to me. Now when I go to Youtube from Firefox, all I get is a Blank screen. I want to REVERSE THAT decision and ALLOW youtube to make suggestions to me. Please help me get back to AS IT WAS BEFORE, or if you could do that for me would be great . Thanks Anand

I'm using Firefox 125.0 (64-bit) on Fedora and for file downloads, I have the options "Ask whether to open or save files" and "Always ask you where to save files" enabled.

This basically works, Firefox opens a file selection dialog and I can select where I want to save my downloads - so far, so good.

The weird thing is, the default location that is shown in this dialog seems to change every time I download a file. I would expect to see the last download location as the default option, but that is not what happens.

When I check about:config, I can see the last used download path is saved as browser.download.lastDir perfectly fine, but it is not set as the default for the next download.

Is there a parameter I can set so this last path is used again?

I've been using Mozilla Firefox since ... well, before Firefox, I used Netscape, your great-great-grandfather.

I am not blind. I have some issues with visual objects on web pages like scroll bars when you can't effectively use them. They are too thin. Mozilla has had complaints about this since 2022.

Please Fix them. Otherwise I may have to migrate to Chrome or Edge and leave my Mozilla legacy behind for a differnent fork in browsers. It's a dealbreaker folks. People will leave this browser and probably are every day for one stupid reason. Scroll bars than are inaccessible without using something like windows magnifier when you need to scroll.\

C'mon Fix the scroll bars!!

I have checked the "Always ask you where to save files" box in settings, but it is being ignored. I tried clearing the the "Save Files to" field, but that doesn't empty.

Firefox 129.0.1 (64-bit) running under Win 10 Pro on a Dell XPS 8910.

Please advise.
