Cannot Type Comments on Reddit

This has been going on for about half a year. Often when I try to comment on Reddit there will be a glitch in which text cannot be written or eddited notmally, such as:

  • the new words being typed are now suddenly being typed at the front of the comment and are replacing the old words as I type
  • if I click to the end again it might also replace these lattermost words when I type
  • pressing backspace to delete words may leave the same characters but the blinker will move back through the letters as though I was simply pressing the left arrow key to move back
  • backspace does nothing
  • writing is impossible

Hello Dan_B,

Is this issue only happening on Firefox, and more specifically Reddit? Are you able to replicate this issue if you use another browser to access Reddit?

I believe the issue to be caused by the keyboard software itself. Have you tried other keyboard applications aside the one you normally use?
