PDF from some websites not handled according to settings

So I set up firefox to handle pdf files like it is described here https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/view-pdf-files-firefox-or-choose-another-viewer The General / Applications / PDF was set to "save file".

It works as intended on most websites.

But some sites (e.g. a website when I download their messages / account statements) seem to ignore the setting and always open the internal pdf viewer.

I changed setup to "ask", it asks on other sites but this website (and I'm sure it's not the only one) always open internally.

Only when I select "Save Document" in the internal viewer the function defined in the settings is applied. A bit too late..

How can I set up firefox to use the options I set up in the set up for all pdfs?

(I wish there was a setup button in the internal viewer to change the behavior)
