I want this because i am told chrome is the most invasive system there is. after downloading firefox, the response comes up that the program is not supported-go to the online store for the app that would support it. ?

There isn't any official support for FirefoxOS on a Chromebook, and I didn't see any search results on how to do it in a quick check. Hobbyists have posted unofficial directions for other devices, so maybe you can find something out there?

Considering that it would be very experimental and you might end up with a nonfunctional device, if you don't trust Google, maybe you should just sell the Chromebook and get something else.

Chrome books have custom BIOS and bootloader. Only certain ones like the Pixel can be hacked and loaded with a differnt OS. I would get a cheap laptop off of Ebay and build Firefox OS on it. Or get a computer that is compatable with Firefox OS.
