Stipefoarum foar Firefox

I like Firefox and am using it for years, but I cannot accept lengthy loading time. I have a fast and stable internet so this is not the problem. Please let me know what the problem is and how to fix it.

With some emails in Outlook on Firefox, clicking on a link within the email gives me a new blank window, with its address line saying something like this: (name of original site, then) ".list-manage.com/track/click?u=ca38acd 82fe622b7" etc etc... This doesn't happen with all emails, but often enough and in some of my most-used sites... I'm on a new HP desktop. Can anyone help?

I can open an email or a google search for this particular website, Sundance, click on an item which then opens on my screen but Firefox is unresponsive when I click within this item screen for details like available sizes and colors. This is the only site that this has occurred.

Firefox on Linux does not allow entries in forms that are called up in IFRAME. It works perfectly on Android.

Does anyone know why this is the case? Uwe

As of a few days ago whenever I start Firefox the window appears with the Bookmarks sidebar panel already opened. I click the "X" on the sidebar and it will close - until the next time I start Firefox. If I choose Menu->View->Sidebar->Bookmarks and uncheck it the panel will close - until the next time I start Firefox. No matter how the Bookmarks sidebar is closed, it will always reappear when Firefox is restarted. Even if I switch to some other sidebar, Bookmarks will replace it on startup.

I've searched about:config and found no setting which seems to control sidebar behavior on startup.

I assume this is the result of some recent update. Is there no longer a way to permanently disable the Bookmarks sidebar?

Just the other day I started getting these popups from "anti virus service" that keeps popping up on my screen. I do not nor never did have McAfee on my system. I did a deep search, and there is no program on my computer, nor in my startups, nor in my popups allowed relating to this. It is only a problem with Firefox. Any solutions?

Currently, Firefox opens OBJ files as text. I want to send them to the Microsoft 3D Viewer which is the default application in Windows for these kinds of files. All I can do right now is right click on the file, save the file, then open with the 3D Viewer. I have gone to settings/General then down to applications and I can't add any files there. (Why not?) It doesn't matter if I choose to save or open files, the OBJ file still displays as text in Firefox. How do I get Firefox to send instead of display these files as text?

Firefox version is: 127.0 (64-bit)

My problem is that Firefox seems to be ignoring "#:~:text=highlight this".

Maybe there's something under about:config? I can't find it.

Can you suggest any functions or apps that I must or should avoid? It's important that I NOT use a VPN, and that I use 'open-source' in a probably 'shared access' situation. GRM PL

I went to this site, no worries, nothing there but asks you to click...which you should not do. It says to copy the fix and paste it into the windows shell... sounds obvious, it's a scam. Except, this is a major funding company.

So the question is, is this legit from firefox? Or is that what? Go to myforwardsavings.com and you'll see what i mean. Or, see image i have included.

Hopefully someone up the chain in firefox can let me know. As i intend to report them if this is nefarious. Thank you.

I have been reading the NYTimes on Firefox for a long time, but it appears that I got logged out without knowing it. I could not log back in even though I used the correct email address and changed my password twice. I can log in on other browsers using my latest password. I called the Times and the person with whom I spoke, after trying to get me logged in, finally said that this is a known problem with Firefox. He did not have any idea about the cause or what I could do; he simply told me to use another browser. I use Firefox for almost everything and this is, to say the least, an inconvenience--for instance, if the Times sends me a link to an article by Thunderbird (which is my email program), I can't read the article but have to find it on another browser. Are you aware of this problem? Do you have any suggestions for how I might log in despite it? Do you know the cause of the problem and whether Mozilla is trying to fix it?

A few months ago my bank statement from wells fargo stopped showing the information. All I have are the heading and lines... no information. I was told by Wells Fargo it is a security glitch in the Firefox preferences. I was not able to find what they were referring to so I am contacting you for help. Instructions on where to find this would be greatly appreciately. It was something about unclicking encrypted security and that bothers me somewhat.

Hello! Hope you reader are doing well. Sometimes, I'll even dare say most of the time, when I browse YouTube on Firefox and enter a video - it loads fine (currently 😢) but the thing that says what the browser is doing right now - I don't really know how it's called, sorry - keeps showing, and the only way for me to remove it when it's stuck is to refresh the page. It is a small yet annoying problem, and been persistent through Firefox's updates. Thanks for reading and helping to make Firefox the best!

I stored a password for particular web site. When I reset the password and stored it again. but your site does not revise it. then i try to remove it but you offer to passwords for all websites. THIS PREVENT ME TO STORE PASSWORDS IN THE FUTURE.

www.wsj.com isn't the only website where this happens. It seems random on sites. www.youtube.com, www.wellsfargo.com. It all started after the last windows update this week. my other browsers weren't affected. Firefox is my preferred browser. Help me fix this.
