Hello! My name is Anya. I am desperately trying to manage my social media addiction and to help support that I am wondering if its possible to disable the privacy window. I know I can install a website blocker - which I have, but it does not apply to the private window so I have full access to social media on it, I just have to log in. I want to COMPLETELY block Facebook and Instagram off of my laptop. Is this possible? Thank you!

I contact you because, even without an adblocker, Youtube is very slow with Firefox navigator. I don't understand why and I don't have this problem with Google Chrome ? Fews years earlier, I never had this problem with slow Youtube when using Firefox Navigator. I don't know if the problem comes from Youtube or Mozilla and I contacted both of them.

As the title says, it is very slow with Ublock Origin. I have refreshed Firefox and without Ublock it obviously works but I would like to keep the extension because it is the only one that works with Youtube Ads right now.

I would like to force spellcheck for all websites, and override any HTML code from the websites. which may be disabling it. This should be done automatically and not by inspecting and manually altering the HTML. I consulted with ChatGPT and tried adding some code to my existing userChrome.css but it is having no effect, even after clearing cache and restarting Firefox. For instance, faxzero.com has a form with spellcheck disabled. I tinkered with the CSS and kept testing faxzero, but the spellcheck always remains disabled. How can I accomplish my goal?

Can't log on to x.com. Getting this message: "Firefox's Enhanced Tracking Protection (Strict Mode) is known to cause issues on x.com".

I added x.com and twitter.com as an exception in Settings/Enhanced Tracking Protection and still not working.

When you go into 'Manage Bookmarks' and click on 'Import/Backup Bookmarks' is there a way to clear out the list of files listed when you hover over 'Restore ->' which brings up the list of recent bookmark files that you have restored?

After restarting Firefox i found I've lost all History and Bookmarks.

I'm on a MAC, I'm not sure to do at this point, I had atleast 10 years of bookmarks!

I often run into issues with PDFs in Firefox Linux. They either appear totally blank (typically after suspend/restore), or they appear with the desktop background showing through (as in the attached screenshot).

Hard refreshing the page doesn't change anything, opening a new tab and opening the PDF again doesn't change anything, opening a new window and loading the PDF doesn't change anything.

Looking at the crash report , I always get "The debug symbols are missing for firefox. Please install firefox-dbg." but I can't find firefox-dbg to load

I have the latest release of Firefox on windows 11.

When I try to access accesspeople.accessacloud.com, the site I use to see my work's rota, the website doesn't work and shows this message;

" 503 Service Unavailable No server is available to handle this request. "

This website works fine with Chrome, Opera, Edge, etc.

I have tried disabling all extensions, turing off tracking, as well as clearing the cookies and cache for the site and still no luck.

Please let me know if you know of any solutions.

With these updates the way Firefox handles Outlook seems to get worse and worse. I don't have these problems if I switch to Edge. If I'm watching streamers on Twitch the streams pause while Outlook loads. It didn't used to do this. Something about that mail service is really hanging up the browser and it struggles more and more. There is always delay as it tries to load everything. The first email will take a while before it loads up. Sometimes if I close the tab and open a new one and try again it loads up faster. I've have all my cookies reset with this recent firefox update, everything got wiped for some reason, but getting them set up again doesn't help it. Clearing Cache hasn't helped it.

Since yesterday, Firefox is crashing constantly. Any action taken on a page can cause it to crash. My cache and cookies have been cleared (every time I end a session), my computer has been restarted (now 20x). I have checked settings on MFF and all looks correct. I have used for years and never had this issue but have been using another browser since yesterday afternoon because this is disruptive to work. Anybody else having issues since the update 5/29/24?

receiving repeated unwanted pop-ups supposedly from at & t, how to stop. When tried to cut and paste the pop-up jumped to another screen, but was able to forward sending web address to at & t fraud.

If happens again will update this post with web address.

Not aware of any after marked pop-up blocker installed on my desktop.

Any security setting which can be set in MS to block pop ups?
