One of the websites I use now gives me the following error: Please unblock challenges.cloudflare.com to proceed Microsoft edge does not have this problem, but I don't like using edge. I used my search and found many causes. I did the following: Went to my firefox settings and cleared cookies and history I ran two security programs, bitdefender and maleware bytes I still have the problem.

When I launch FF after rebooting an annoying ad pops up on the new page tab, the contents are:

'Get the inside scoop

See the add-ons our staff use to make browsing faster, safer, or just plain fun!'

It pops up just under the puzzle piece icon next to the address bar.

Is there a way to block it?

I am on Linux, with font defaults on 15px. I have also set the minimum font size in firefox to 15, yet all content of webpages and even the settings menu (which I've noticed ignores the font size settings entirely) is minuscule by comparison - I found the font sizes of the adress bar (respecting system font size of 15) matching webpages scaled to 140% or minimum fonts set to 22.

Changing the `layout.css.devPixelsPerPx` scales the adress bar too, aside of just scaling all elements, not text.

I'm at a loss for words here. I have a website I frequent and it has a really annoying behavior. I'm a developer so finally I mustered the strength to do something about it. I googled how to create an extension in Firefox and within 5 minutes I had a working extension that solved their annoyance. However, I can only load it temporarily. If I close Firefox, it goes away. When I try to actually install it, it says I need to have it signed. I have now spent the better part of an hour trying to find out how to self sign it. I refuse to believe that I have to submit this to Mozilla for me to be able to install my own code. Can someone please send me in the direction of how i self sign and install my own extension. I have no intention of publishing, I only want to run this for myself.

Mozilla will not work - it looks like it's trying to load a page but nothing happens. Then the crash reporter kicks in - but it never actually sends the crash report. (I'll copy it here) I've tried uninstalling it and reinstalling it - it doesn't help. Tried disabling the antivirus and firewall (which had never been a problem before) but that doesn't help either. So if you can, please help :)

Recently I tried to start using Passkeys as they appear to be less hassle, however, when I try to set one up I am told that my browser is not suitable, and it suggests that I use Chrome (or others). I set up a website for my wife a while ago. Most recently we noticed that some (not all) of our pages are not shown correctly when we use Firefox as browser. Specifically, when you open a webpage and scroll down as far as you can, there is a certain white area at the very bottom visible, below the footer. Now, if you wait a small amount of time, then scroll a little up and down again, the white border is not longer there and the page appears as it should.

However, a short while after launch, it starts delaying about five seconds before opening the same, small PDFs, whether they are on disk or fetched via the network, and regardless of whether they are cached locally or downloaded. I've examined the performance profile of the slow loads, but I'm not sure what to look for.

Restarting the browser reliably makes PDF loads snappy again, but the effect doesn't last very long, less than an hour before the five second delay returns.

I've seen this behavior on all PDFs, but here are two examples:

Two computers. Both computers name version of Firefox and same version Of Windows 10. On computer 1 drag and drop no longer works. I can click star next url and manually to bookmark toolbar. I also cannot reorder on tool bar by dragging and dropping by selecting.

How do I know I'm doing it correctly? On computer 2 it works exactly as should. Click on padlock and drop or click on entry and toolbar and reorder. Same extensions etc and do not have a bookmark extension though have tab session manager. Same version both computers. Only difference in browser is number of tabs open. x 10 difference in number of tabs open computer 1 versus 2.

If I put firefox in troubleshoot mode with extensions etc off or create a brand new profile and try same problem.

As the title says when I am using the video player on Coursera website I am not able to hide the control bar while on fullscreen mode (even if I don t move my mouse for more than 15 seconds). I ve attached a screenshot with the control bar being displayed. (also the captions are overlapping with that control bar) I ve also tried different ways of opening the fullscreen mode (click on the "Full Screen" button or by pressing 'F'). I don t have this problem on websites like YouTube.

  2. 2 I set the same sites in the 'Manage Exceptions' tab so that these sites do not have their cookies deleted.
  3. 3 Save Settings
  4. 4 Close and re-open Firefox. All cookies are deleted.

I suspect this is a bug?

I've been having this reoccurring firefox bug every couple of months where randomly all audio from the application stops working is no longer available in the volume mixer of windows 11 (see example screenshot with twitch tab in background playing)

In the past, I was able to fix this issue by simply restarting the audisrv service and everything would work normally but now nothing I do seems to work. I've tried:

- Resetting - Uninstall/reinstall - Disabled all extensions - New profile

I do not have this issue on firefox dev or firefox nightly. If anyone has any ideas on how I could resolve or better diagnose this issue it would be much appreciated! TIA

I'm using this instructions to move my profile from old laptop to new laptop. I've had success with this method in the past, but not today. I copied the files over to my new device, open FF on the new device, and FF just opens as a new installation. What is going wrong?? (I'm going from a Windows 10 laptop to new Windows 11 laptop. (Ugh, I already haaaaaate Windows 11, but that is for another forum!)

Ever since the last update the browser's font has been garbled (tabs, address bar, settings page, etc). Some websites show this problem too.

I tried downgrading back to 119 and it displays fine. I was force updated back to 121 and it's broken again.
