Hello! I want to work with burp suit application but for work with it the foxy proxy need. when I turned on the foxy proxy it always gives me different kind of error messages such ass "The proxy server is refusing connections". I tried everything I could but to no avail.

I installed an extension from a website(not from addons.mozilla.org) and found it a bit suspicious so after around using it for 1 minute immediately removed it... So will an extension be able to access root/admin permissions if it had some malicious script executed(I am using debian) or can extension access system files,modify,delete or install/download anything without the users' permission?

Hello Firefox Support, I need help to upgrade the version of the security protocol that enables access to my NAS unit. Now the message;

indicates I no longer can access my page until I find the remedy to this issue. Thank you in advance for cooperation and help with is matter.

Hello! I've been using Firefox as my daily driver web browser for at least a year, first on Windows and now more recently on Linux (specs below). The PC itself is the same, the only thing to change was the OS. Ever since moving to Linux, I've had this problem with crashing. I have two monitors and I will usually snap the browser to half of one screen while I do other things on the rest of my display space. However, most of the time when I try to drag the browser window off of its half of the screen, all of my Firefox windows crash, with an error message about not being able to send a crash report (see attached image). This has been happening with multiple browser versions, both the official repository release as well as the Flatpak. No other application has behaved like this.

System details: OS: Manjaro Linux x86_64 Kernel: 5.17.1-3-MANJARO x86_64 DE: Plasma 5.24.4 WM: KWin CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 1600X Memory: 15982.8 MiB GPU: AMD Radeon RX 6600 XT (amdgpu driver in use)

I've been using firefox for so long, but now I'm having an issues where I'm not able to download anything. Whenever I click on either download or upload buttons, no window popups. I tried Brave browser with same, but it crashes. This problem started on Firefox. Helps would be appreciated. (Sorry due to same issue I can't upload screenshot/video sample of the problem).

Firefox 100.0 Ubuntu 22.04 Mozilla VPN 2.8.0

As the title says, Multi-Account containers doesn't detect the VPN, which means that it's not setting the VPN for specific containers.

I suspect this is actually a problem with the "Allow extension to exchange messages with programs other than Firefox" permission. Could be a VPN issue, but gut feeling that it's a Firefox issue, TBH

From what I understand firefox now supports subtitles in picture in picture mode but when I use it for youtube it doesn't work. I have enabled the captions in the advanced settings and I have tried it with all my addons disabled.

I don't want the tabs + search bar to show when the mouse reaches the top of the screen while in full-screen mode, I have tried "userChrome.css" solution provided in this link "https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1092572", but it didn't work for me, I would appreciate any help, thank you.

Hello, I was trying to fix this issue on my browser but I was not able to do it. The OS is Ubuntu 20.04.3 LTS 64-bit. Currently, I'm using Firefox version 99.0a1 but I had the same issue on version 97. Also, I have this issue on only one of my PCs. As I said in the subject: - The browser freezes the whole PC and I have to force reboot it. (I already disabled the hardware acceleration) - the recent download item open button does not trigger the opening of the folder. - If I try to download a file, the browser ask me where to save it. But if I try to download another one the browser shows me the directory with path /run/usr/1000/... I tried to delete places.sqlite but I received the same result. ... Since I've upgraded to Ubuntu 22.04 "Firefox" randomly started closing it's self without any crash report what so ever.

I've read some article on Ubuntu forums but I couldn't find any helpful information (Or they didn't work for me)

Please anyone help! I've been using Firefox all the time and has never crashed until the upgrade to Ubuntu 22.04

I updated the operative system on my laptop but, when I opened Firefox and signed into my profile, it didn't import my old bookmarks, only the browsing history. Passwords and other data are all there, only the bookmarks are gone.

Is there a way to get them back?

In the past few days Firefox has stopped showing html pages on my other partitions. Has Firefox changed the way they are doing things or is this a new bug?

The screenshot below shows a web page I regularly use that I keep snippets and brief programming notes. It and all links on all partitions except the root drive are no-longer accessible.

I have used Firefox for over 10 years and never had this happen.

Any ideas what may have happened?

Hello, I am using Firefox 100 on Arch Linux (5.17.6-arch1-1) with GNOME 42.1, and after recent updates i doesn't play any videos, it is buffering them, plays a frame and pauses.

1. I reinstalled firefox. 2. I cleaned cache && cookies. 3. I removed extensions.

Firefox only uses custom minimize/maximize buttons when I select show toolbar. When not selected, it seems to use the windows 10 window decoration. I am using arch linux with kde plasma and firefox 100. Is there any way for firefox to use the system wide minimize/maximize buttons

When I want to drag and drop a tab into a folder of the bookmark toolbars, I can't do it for some folders.

Specifically, it doesn't work for folders that are somewhat in the area of the tab preview animation that pops up when I start dragging the tab. So that is not the same folders every time, it depends on the tab location in the tab bar.

Hi! I have set this option pdfjs.externalLinkTarget to 2, but despite that setup, all PDFs are open in the same tab of the PDF download link, that's a problem for me because, for instance, my home banking account losses the session if anything external is loaded, so when I click Firefox back arrow, the home banking session expires.

How can I set to open PDFs in Firefox in new tab?
