slow uploading photos in facebook

hi when we go to upload photos in face book even small file photos eg 300kb takes about up to 5min, we tried using explorer it works fine 20 seconds, firefox is the default, i uninstalled firefox and installed firefox 12 same thing , i cleared cookies,history etc ,but it only does it on this computer ,my wifes laptop works fine with firefox doing the same thing

It is possible that your anti-virus software is causing that problem by scanning the files before allowing the upload.

Did you check that?
