firefox fail to attach doc in email stating that it could be due to proxy or firewall and asking for using classic up loader This problem was earlier not existing This is not the problem with internet explorer

I have already updated to 9.0.1 and I still cannot attach anything to an email. I did not have this problem with earlier version of Firefox. What did you do to the system? This is very annoying.

Firefox has been updated to version 8.0.1. Try updating Firefox and see if that solves your problem.
For a clean installation,
- download the new version,
- uninstall the old version,
- delete the Firefox program files folder, then
- install the new version with administrator privileges.
i have downloaded version 8 of firefox after deleting earlier version.The problem is no more .thanks for the help

You guys are not going to believe this I figured out the problem it's really dumb...ok here goes the attachment uploader loads seperate so I got to thinking it's a popup so I went to options content and under block pop ups there is an option exceptions click on that and in the box type www.firefox.com and hit allow pow its fixed!!!!! :-)
