How do I Edit saved passwords?

I do not want to delete any info, I can handle that but I can not seem to bring up a menu that allows me to force a change in some passwords and on a lot of sites the pop-up that asks if I wish to change info or add to saved passwords does not come up. So is there a way to force this behavior (saving passwords) on any site I choose and is there then a way to force an Edit ? For some reason one of the saved has been deleted or no longer shows up but that is another problem.
