Java Apps dont work on Mac OS X 10.6.4, Java Plug-in 2 for NPAPI is active, FF 3.6.10 is working well
FF 4b6 isn't able to run my business web site containing Java App. Firefox 3.6.10 and Safari 5.0.1 are working well.
FF 4b6 shows the Java symbol (a cup of coffee) and then nothing happens anymore. If I disable the Java Plug-in FF 4b6 even doesn't show the Java symbol, nothing happens.
My understanding is that Java is NOT handled directly by the browser (Mac) and the Plug-in is just there to hand-over the Java App to the JVM of MacOS. So, why doesn't it work with FF4?
Thanks for any hint in advance.
Kind Regards

After installing the latest Java Update from Apple my JAVA App is running. Unfortunately the font anti-aliasing doesn't work. There is a new application started "Java Applet Host" if I use FF4b6.
If I switch back to FF3.6 "Java Applet Host" doesn't appear and the font anti-aliasing is working well.
