I have Read&Write 9 gold on my pc and it has compaitbility issues with Firefos

I have Read&Write 9 Gold on my pc for dyslexia. Although Internet Explorer is supported I prefer Mozilla Firefox because it crashes very rarely and works much better. However, the software is producing constant run time errors to the point where I am unable to do anything else except click ok over and over again until it clears. Sometimes I am sat here for 5 mins just clicking away and it is getting much worse. I would appreciate some help as my studying is starting to slip as I'm not able to do any work as it is happening while on websites when Read&Write 9 Gold is not even open!!

Dear Chris

I have seen an issue like this before. Read&Write 9 installs a plugin to Firefox to allow us to highlight inside the web page. I suspect this needs to be reinstalled. Please follow the instructions below-

1. Ensure Read&Write 9 has been closed. 2. Open Firefox 3. Go to Tools > Add-ons 4. In the Extensions section of the Add-ons windows select 'TexthelpHighlighter' and click on 'Uninstall' 5. Close Firefox 6. Open Read&Write 7. Open Firefox 8. Go to our website, www.texthelp.com and select some text, then click the 'Play' button on the Read&Write toolbar. You will be prompted to install the plugin to enable Read & Write to highlight and read from the Firefox window. 9. Close Read & Write and Firefox, then re-open Read & Write and Firefox and read some text from the Firefox window using Read & Write.

Please let me know if this does not work.

Intitially I received a large error box message and then nothing for several days. However, it has only fixed the problem short term. The error messages began appearing again two days ago and are getting worse.

Hope this is of some help to you. If you would like me to email the page with the initial error message let me know where to send it. This was a new message I had not seen before.
