In FIrefox ESR 52.7.3 the page used to have blue loading wheel in a tab when it was processing requests. In Firefox Quantum 60.8.0 the feature is missing and users rapidly click buttons because they are unsure if they actually clicked on a button (there is no loading indicator in the tab). Is there a way how to re-enable tab loading indicator?

I am atacching an image describing my issue.

Thanks in advance for any response.

Firefox 60 doesn't show a rotating loader (throbber) on a tab, but shows a horizontally moving dot that might be harder to notice.

I'm not seeing the favicon on that tab in your screenshot.

Are you disabling or otherwise suppressing the favicon as this might effect the loading throbber as well ?

We dont have favicons on our applications (they physically do not exist). The horizontal moving dot shows only when logging into the app but not while doing anything else. For example, when waiting for content to load inside HTML frame, in ESR 52.7.3 we had the throbber, but in Quantum 60.8.0 there is no loading indicator in the tab. Is there some kind of parameter that has to be enabled inside firefox? Or was the throbber disabled for content in HTML frame?
