Dead zones or non-responsize buttons on certain websites

Using the Firefox Android app on a Samsung Galaxy S8 running Oreo. I'm frequently coming across the issue that certain website buttons/controls cannot be selected or interacted with from Firefox. For example, a Filter selection on a shopping page, or the common three-bar menu expander button. This has come up across many sites, and I tested my touch screen to make sure it wasn't a hardware dead spot. When it happens, the page is not frozen, because I can still scroll and interact with other items on the page.
