The help instructions tell me to right click on the search pull down in the upper right corner of Firefox. No such device. Linux Mint instructions don't seem to apply & I dislike Amazon, too intrusive.

Google isn't one of your options at all, or Google isn't your default search engine?

Default Search Engine

I think the most current support article would be: Change your default search settings in Firefox.

Or you can open the Preferences page using the menu, either:

  • "3-bar" menu button > Preferences
  • (menu bar) Edit > Preferences

In the left column of the Preferences page, click Search to display your search settings.

Getting a Google Search Plugin

If needed, this page has a comprehensive collection to choose from: http://mycroftproject.com/google-search-plugins.html

Do you have the Navigation Toolbar with the location/address bar and the search bar next to it?

You can manage the search engines via "Edit > Preferences > Search"
